They fit! Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket...
I didn't see any reviews for these shoes last week so here goes.I saw these shoes in person at Macy's last Monday and thought they might be just right for an upcoming trip that will involve city walking, trail walking and possibly rain. They look appropriately low-key for city walking - mostly because they are a dull gray without stripes or contrast. My feet are kind of wide. Not usually W width but almost. I ordered my usual size, 8M, and they fit my semi-wide feet just fine.Teva calls them hiking shoes and they do feel more like hiking/walking shoes than sneakers. They have a firmness to them. I'm guessing they will become a little more flexible as I break them in. We'll see. Also, I noticed after my walk yesterday that my socks were slightly damp with sweat, which I am attributing to their being waterproof. But I thought I would mention it just in case.I'm glad I bought them. They are comfortable (but not squishy) and should be versatile.

Really good!
I was hesitant to buy these as I have to place an orthotic. It's fit's perfectly! The shoe is light and very supportive. I broke my ankle last February and need a supportive walking shoe for an upcoming trip to Europe. I've taken a few long walks with great success! The waterproofing is yet to be tested. So far, it's a great shoe.

New hiking for the inexperienced
I bought these shoes because I needed something lightweight and waterproof to go hiking in. (After a trip where we got poured on and ended up not being able to beautifully hike at a destination) I’ve only gotten on one muddy hike in them- but I will say they have done better than expected! They feel like a tennis shoe so you don’t need to break them in. After being muddy- I rinsed them off in the bathtub with zero problems. They came clean so easily! I got the black, because they literally match anything. I love the shoelace detail on them, and they are very comfortable. I will say if you walking on wet rocks- probably not the best shoe. The tread isn’t the best out there, but it does its job.

Tread began to wear down on the heel and toe area within one month.
Purchased Teva Canyonview on August 8, 2024 they arrived August 11,2024.I needed some waterproof hiking shoes for a trip to Ireland in mid September 2024. I have Teva sandals that I like, so I was glad to find these. I wore them on walks around my neighborhood and on our local greenway to “break them in” before my trip. They seemed fine and looked like a good fit. While on my trip in Ireland I did light to moderate hiking , walking in the cities and they held up to a day of rain. I wore them about every other day for 2 weeks. However, halfway through the trip I noticed that the tread was already wearing down considerably on the heel and toe area of both shoes. I’m pretty sure this is not normal for a pair of Teva hiking shoes to wear down in just over a month. Very disappointed.

No arch support
They were cute. I happen to need a bit more support though and these didn’t feel like enough arch support for me. After one 15 minute walk around the neighborhood to break them in I got a blister on my heal.
