TLDR: Pay the money, it's worth it!
~275Lbs and 5'4 and wear a size 10. I have wide feetDidn't break these in before going to National Parks in Utah (~6mile hikes per day/5 days) and just got one tiny blister. They are SO comfortable. Usually I want to rip my shoes off after a hike and these don't bother me at all. It was hard to spend this much money on shoes but it is 100% worth it and I recommend Teva in general but had never looked at their hiking boot options. Do your future self a favor and buy.
