Very comfortable
They are not waterproof. I walked on a sidewalk in the rain (not because I wanted to, but because I had to) and my feet were cold and wet when I got home. I do wear a size 10, so they do look like clodhoppers on a platform. If you wear a larger shoe size, and choose the lighter colors, it can be a shock when you open the box. They just look huge. They are comfortable, and the thick sole does protect your feet while hiking in rocky areas or on hot pavement. So, I wear them but feel like I have giant boots on.
Not to bad just a little harder of a shoe. to walk in. like the color.
Most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever had! They fit true to size and are nicely insulated.
