The greatest shoe of all time!
I’m basically obsessed with these shoes. They work for every and all occasion, they’re comfortable and supportive and flexible and easy to wash and they’re fashionable. I sing praises to all my friends and family about these shoes, which I bought at the recommendation of my friend who had a pair and traveled around the world for a year in them!! They fit so well with the Velcro able to be adjusted!! They hold up incredibly well and I’ve never slipped or gotten blisters in them. I’ve walked and hiked and been all over with them. I’m gone through all the summer weather with them so far, and they continually impress me.

Very comfortable, Shoe!
These are my go to shoes!!!I’m fixing to buy more because I love these, they are so comfortable and work with jeans, dresses, shorts, athletic wear, etc. I do believe I will get them in a few different colors. I’m 59 and my feet look for comfort they are very durable. The size is pretty true to fit, and as far as discomfort, and where with blisters or uncomfortableness, there was none. The only complaint I have is I just wish the price was more reasonable.

Perfect Sandal
Wifey: purchased a size 7. Comfortable right out of the box! I wear between a 6.5 and 8 depending on the shoe. I have a wide toebox and narrow heel. I also have foot, plantar, and achilles pain and issues. These sandals feel great. I can wear them around the house, hiking, or even with a dress or slacks. The cushion on the ankle strap is a nice touch.

I freaking love these sandals. I have orthopedic inserts for my shoes. I brought a link to these sandals to my podiatrist and asked if she thought these would work for me and she said I should try them. When they showed up at my house, I took them out of the box and put them on to wear them around the house for a little while to see how they felt. But the next thing I knew, the garbage truck came and I had not put the garbage out which then sent me running through my house to every bedroom and bathroom, up and down stairs, out to the end of my driveway and back three times to get the garbage out before the truck actually got to my house. The fact that I did not sprain my ankle and that my feet did not hurt while doing that is absolutely amazing. Since I already had them on, I wore them all day long and they didn’t bother me at all. I usually have to break shoes in over the course of several days before they feel comfortable for me and these I could wear it straight out of the box. I didn’t have any red marks. I didn’t have any sore spots. I’ve just been wearing these sandals with no problems this whole summer. I brought the sandals into my podiatrist so she could check them out and she was very impressed with how firm and stable the soles were and how wide the base was. These are absolutely wonderful for me and I’m so glad I bought them.

Foot slides forward, annoying ridge hurting toes
I really wanted to love these. I walked all over Europe in the leather mid forms without breaking them in. Most comfortable shoes ever. I thought these ampsoles would be the same, but even sturdier with more traction for hiking. I was wrong.I’m a size 9 in Teva’s.. Been wearing them for years. I bought a 9 in this ampsole , and they fit perfectly. However, I realized, after wearing them outside that my toes slide forward when walking more than 10 or 20 feet. There is a ridge at the edge of the sole that my toes brush up against and it is very irritating.. Sometimes my toes even slide over the edge. This doesn’t happen in other Teva styles. I don’t know what the problem is with this one. Other reviewers have had the same problem. The shoe itself is comfortable enough, although way more stiff, and have a heavier weight than the midforms that I love. The only way to prevent my foot from sliding is to tighten the straps so tightly that it cuts off my circulation and my foot goes numb.It’s too late for me to return these. I guess I’m stuck wearing them as beach shoes. Expensive beach shoes. Disappointed.Update: I’ve been wearing these here and there running errands, and around my house, just to see if they get any better. The straps, which are quite stiff, have started to soften up and mold to the shape of my foot. This seems to be helping the foot sliding forward issue. They are still not as comfortable as my midforms, but they have a great tread that I know would be good for hiking, so I expect some stiffness. My feet are getting used to them, and I’m going to start wearing them for longer periods and see how they do. Upgrading my rating to three stars.Also, I have a narrow foot and had to pull the straps pretty tight. I hate the look of them hanging over. So I cut them with a fabric scissor and then lightly melted the ends with a lighter (Synthetic fibers will melt, not burn, And the melting prevents fraying.) They look so much better.UPDATE: March 2025. These are now my everyday shoes. I have even walked several miles in them for exercise with no blisters. I live in a hot climate and I love to walk, so I prefer to wear open toed shoes sometimes. The straps have softened to the point where I don’t even realize I’m wearing them anymore. Upgrading to 4 stars. If you really like them, and they are a little stiff, just give it time. They will break in.

Perfect for everyday & vacation!
So comfy! I wore these everyday on vacation in Florida in 80 degree or hotter weather and we walked or biked a lot! Super cushy but not in an unsupportive way and straps adjust wonderfully. Can't say enough good things. Also love the color and platform...makes them look a little more elevated than regular Tevas but no sacrificing the comfort. Runs true to size.
