Better Than My Boots!
Bought a pair as a last-minute purchase when we realized our three-week trip out west hiking at six national parks would begin and end with unseasonably warm temps for October - 104 degrees seemed just too warm for boots! I was a bit nervous about breaking them in on a trip, so I wore my lightweight wool socks with them. Couldn’t believe how comfortable these Teva shoes were! Didn’t think the material would give, but the socks helped stretch them a bit in no time. I wore them so much that I finally felt sorry for my (packed) hiking boots and wore them for a few days.Pros: sturdy soles that grip, even on slick rock areas at Arches and Canyonlands NPs, comfortable, good arch support, breathable, wash and dry well, work great with socks.Cons: runs large, and the mesh is open just enough that fine sand worked its way between the fabric and into the toe area, making a lump, which took quite an effort to shake (bang) free. In fact, weeks later I still feel sand in my toes. It’s a nice memory but a bit of an inconvenience. Worth it, still, and would buy again!

These have give to them in the foot bed. They're very comfortable and the slightest bit bouncy when you walk. Walking in these helps cushion my feet, legs, and back. Walking on pavement isn't so excruciating. I wear them with socks. The tongue isn't very thick, so if that's important, that's something to consider.

Cute and I like
Pros: Roomy in toes which I like due to arthritis bump on big toes. Easy to put on and string to tighten. Received compliments. Live in the desert so need sandals for my not so pretty feet that cover in the right places without hurting me. I can wear socks. I walk a lot and so far so good!Cons: My orthotics can fit easy but shoes hurt with them in it. If you have a narrow foot, these are NOT for you. They are a tad bigger than usual size I get but again, I need room in toes. Wish they carried half sizes.

They look great and felt good wearing them in my kitchen. However, I was not happy with them in the river. In the 10 seconds I stood in the water before getting in my kayak, they filled with rocks and gravel and that made for miserable paddling. I had hoped to also wear them on my SUP but I think they will be too heavy and the tread isn’t right. I would call these hiking sandals that can get wet instead of water shoes. I wish I could return them. I guess I will keep wearing my ugly but highly functional water shoes from Lands End.

Runs REALLY big....go down at least one size!
I really wanted to like these, but they were way to big. I also found them to be rough on the inside, and were uncomfortable because of that. I could have worn a thick sock, but why would I want to do that?!I gave them to someone who normally wears a size 8.5, and they fit perfectly. I ordered a size 7.I dud like the color, but it is no longer available.
