So yes these are absolutely wonderful tap shoes. We got the highest size there was which was a two and a half. My son is in a size 2 they fit perfect because we don't want them loose. There is a tiny tiny bit of room in the front. So I went by the other recommendations and reviews and went up a half size cuz that's all I could do. So if your kid is in a size 1 get a size 2. But for the price and the quality they are really good.
Ordered a size up as the seller recommended. They were too large. Other than that these shoes were perfect. Easy to slip on and would've worked out great for tap class.I will mention my daughter has a very narrow foot. I belive these would not have worked out if she had a wide foot or high arch.
I got these in a size 13.5 for my 6 year old son. He wears a size 12 in most shoes. These fit perfect but without any room to grow. I would probably get 2 sizes bigger next time.
My son wears a toddler 10 normally, and we got a size 13 for him. Very snug, a little difficult to get on, but once in, he says they're comfortable. Not snug in the toe area.
I work in the arts and am very familiar with MANY dancewear brands out there. Of the budget or beginner friendly brands, Theatricals is consistently the best. Very reasonable prices and nice materials, well-made.These particular tap shoes are great for the classy, long line look while still being kid appropriate. Nice tone, fits as expected, and elegant slip on sryle. Every parent in my daughter's tap class wanted to know where we bought these :)
These are really comfortable and quality made. Nicer then the ones my studio sold us.
I purchased these tap shoes for my five-year old son. They slip on easily since there are no laces and seem to be comfortable. My son wears a 12 in street shoes, so I ordered a size and half up, which was perfect. Be sure to order at least a size and a half bigger than you would street shoes or they will be too snug.
