I have double wide feet and the wide fit worked for me. The shoes were as pictured and perfect for the outfit I had. I liked the smaller heel. Easy to wear, yet looked stylish. Less expensive than other shoes I looked at. I would say they are a good value

These were surprisingly comfortable and fit perfect. Got them for a Halloween costume and danced all night.
I ordered these a few days prior to opening night of my very first show-- and they came just in time; saving me from what might've been a character shoe emergency.Throughout the shows, though, I took mental notes of the positive and negatives of the shoe from a theatrical perspective.PROS:> appearance of the shoe is very standard; fits most characters, aligning with the industry's standard of "character shoes".> the height and thickness of the heels is comfortable, enough-- coming from someone who always wears sneakers. the heel of the shoe is at a comfortable height.> came very fast; although i do use prime, so not sure how shipping times look for those without the membership.CONS:> probably the worst of all-- the straps!!! this show had a lot of quick changes that included me changing shoes, and trying to use such a cheaply made buckle quickly during an adrenaline rush was just a nightmare every night. very difficult to actually stick the metal through the hole of the strap, which was so frustrating; this might be easier for someone who wears strapped heels more often, but still. this is the sole reason i will likely purchase a different brand once my next show comes around.> while not horrible, this show can get a little uncomfortable when worn for long periods-- particularly as someone with wide feet.TAKE NOTE:These shoes, like most theatrical shoes, are naturally very slippery out-of-box (especially on stage). It was crucial for me to scuff them up via scraping them on some concrete in order for them to not slip around on stage-- or, some castmates of mine would take a screwdriver to the bottoms of their new character shoes. To each their own, right?In all, I'm appreciative of these shoes getting me out of a pinch, but the straps are hard to use and are the reason I'll probably purchase new shoes from elsewhere.
Not a well-made shoe. I purchased them for a musical I am in and should have opened the box sooner because my return window closed now. Boooo! When I opened them, I saw that they have a wooden heel, which is not even covered up by paint. There is also no rubber -or anything- covering the bottom of the heel. Actually, the entire bottom of the shoes is pure wood. Not only would I ruin the stage wearing these, but I would also slide all over it. To top it off, they are not even comfortable. I tried them on just to see if I chose the correct size. I'm not even sure of that. I imagine they feel much like wearing shoes from Holland in the 13th century. Why are companies making stuff like this?
I usually wear an 8M in Capezio character heels. As much as I love and respect Capezio and their products- they're very expensive for someone in my line of work (character entertainment). I pretty much live in character heels, so they get a lot of wear and tear on them fast! I was looking for a more affordable option and Theatricals offered a similar shoe style as well as the ability to use my Prime membership. So I ordered them! They arrived very fast and look almost the same as my Capezio pairs. Admittedly they're a little roomier than expected, but considering I need to be able to wear my heavy dance tights with them, that's not really a complaint- more a mention for those of you who worry about those sorts of things. They're comfortable all day, just like character heels are supposed to be! And doing spins in them, they have good traction- just the right amount ;) I will definitely be a repeat buyer!
