First time with these Thorogood boots. I ordered 8.5 wide. My previous boots were the same dize so I am glad I followed the advice from other reviews to go 1 size down from regular shoe size. They are comfortable but a bit tight on sides. I know my previous boots had a break in period and those ended up being super comfortable. If you have wide feet consider maybe an extra wide. Overall very happy so far with quality and fit. The longevity test is yet to be tested.

Well worth the money!

Good strong leather uppers. Solid safety toe. Waterproof only to the elastic, but slip on convenience worth it's weight in gold! Runs a little large, but this work in my favor for the custom Orthotics that I use. Just remove the stock insoles, then use a flat insole like dr. Sholes then place your custom or the stock back in on top.

Comfortable but runs big

Size down either a half or whole size. I did have to exchange mine and got a half size smaller but probably could have gone a full size. Boots are very comfortable and sturdy. Didn't take much to break in. Great station boots!

Maybe think twice before purchasing

Great boots for a month but the back of the heel area started to roll down and rub against my heel. Sad cause I really liked them. Maybe just a flaw in the boot cause my left boot is fine.

Shoes are a little big

These shoes are very comfortable for its price. However the shoes come one size bigger than the actual size. For my size I'm a 11 men, but I had to buy a 10 and they are still a little bigger than I would like.

Worth it

Super comfy , most comfortable shoes I own. Took a fat minute to get used to the toes and it hurt pretty bad at first with the composite toe but if you wear pads and give it time , it’s worth it.I have large ankles so I ended up cutting the inner side of elastic material on top to give more room . I hesitated to cut them but it was the right choice and the cut elastic doesn’t fray too much, I just trim it up if the elastic gets messy.Would buy again if I’m looking for a nice protective toe that’s both comfortable and stylish

Every day for work

6 inch shaft and compositor are required for work, but I’ve got compliments on them that they are so stylish. The toe is not huge like many composite toe shoes. I can slip them off and cool off and quickly have them back on quickly.
