Fit was nice, appearance was really good! Comfort is good for me and I'm 280lbs+. Sole is holding up and they boots themselves are durable. However the stitching at the ankle came undone and they stopped being waterproof.
Boots are not very comfortable even after a week of work usage, got blisters and sore feet every night so far, would expect better for a 200$ pair of boots
Fit good and is comfortable durability is unknown but so far holding up I do a lot of metal work and like slip ons no laces to burn up
Super comfortable on the sole of the boot, but I had to return because the quality control of thorogood boots (on Amazon) is quite lack luster. I constantly get little flaws in every pair I buy that will dig into my feet in different spots. If you can buy in person, do that because you can feel them out before you buy, and the quality seems to be better than what I have received from Amazon.
I am giving this a 3 star for a few reasons. Also I’m not one to leave a review or complain over petty thing. I have had a few different pairs of Therogood boots and enjoyed them for years. My first order the boot size wasn’t even close from right to left( see photo) Amazon was somewhat helpful with the return. They assured me that I would receive a refund but also when I reordered the price had changed. So they assured me that I would receive a price match. That was like pulling teeth. Back to the boots. Well I receive the new order and let me tell you. These boots are so tight on the instep I struggled getting them on. Once on the fit really well. But wow extremely hard to get on. I reached out to therogood explained what was going on and if this was an issue, because I have had a few different pairs from them and this was never the case with any of them. She told me yes it is an issue with some customers. I asked what could be done. My concern was if I go to a bigger size would they be way to big. They fit but I about blow out my back getting them on. She tells me it is common for customers to send them to a boot cobbler to be stretched. Okay, I might understand that from 1960s boot manufacturers but an American made boot in 2025 I wouldn’t expect to take these to get stretched. She explained if I couldn’t find a cobbler that most customers buy the boot stretcher themselves.To shorten this up. I have stretched these a dozen times now and I get a day or two out of them and have to stretch again. My other theropods were extremely comfortable but these so far are not even close to as comfortable and the absolute struggle to get them on my feet are a pain. Like I said I’m not one to write a review but these so far are not very good. Unhappy with my new boots after 5-6 weeks now.
Been a huge double hs boot man for close to a decade but they weren't holding up the same so decided to change it up. Bunch of my buddies at work have this brand but lace up and have a couple years on em still going. Figured id try a pair.Got em thrusday wore em friday to work. Worked 16 hours first day in em and I gotta say my back didn't hurt and my feet felt good. Theyre super comfortable so far so good. Hopefully they hold up for me i am rough on boots
Heal liner wore out after five months of normal everyday work use. Contacted both Amazon and Thorogood to resolve issue but were not willing to warranty or return. Expected these boots to last longer for the price point.
