These boots are worth every penny! You can wear these for hours and never get fatigued. I am in the fire service and these boots have been to hell and back and to date still look new. They come off easily and back on. I am extremely hard on my foot wear due to my job and these boots haven't failed me yet. Great boot...
Purchased these December 2011. Most boots I've used over the years (automotive environment) barely last a year. These started to show signs of wear after a year and a half. I could likely get 2 years out of them if needed. They held up very well, are extremely comfortable and slip on very easily. I will never buy a work boot with laces ever again. Just bought a second pair.

Replaced Blundstone as my workboot favorite (edited)
After a trip to Australia on which I picked up a few pairs of Redback and Blundstone boots for work (carpentry), I have been dreading the day they wore out. That day came, and after quite a bit of research I bought a few pairs of station boots from Amazon. The Thorogoods are the winners for me. I like them more than I did my Blundstones, which is saying a lot. The insole is even a nice dense rubber.Edit after 10 months of wear: The outsoles of these are now in poor condition. They have worn through to the softer midsole material in several spots (my usual wear spots). I do wear them every day, and in fairly rough conditions, but I was hoping for at least 18 months of use out of them, and it looks like I'll barely get a year. If they were $40 cheaper, I would not complain, but for $120, they should last longer. Blundstones do...I've docked them a star for sole durabilty. Otherwise, they are in decent shape, and still comfortable. The elastic sides are holding up well. If you don't drag your feet at all, or if you only work on smooth surfaces (OSB subfloors are rough on boots), they would be a great choice. Unfortunately I'll probably try something else next time.

Husband loves them....
My husband just received these boots a few days ago. Right out of the box he was able to wear them and commented how nice they fit and the quality of the boot. He wears a size 10.5M and commented they fit true to size. Just so you know...these boots are made in China. I looked everywhere on the internet to find out where they were made and had no luck whatsoever. I wish it were mandatory that companies specify where their products are made for those of us who prefer to support our country. There are several boots made by Thorogood that are made in the USA, these are not. That is the only downside to this boot. He would definitely repurchase this boot.

Perfect Buy
I wanted a safety boot i can wear for hours without pain especially if you normally stand for a long time. I got that with this safety boot.I enjoy wearing it cause its also light and does not feel like a safety boot.
