Great boots!!!

These were the most comfortable boots I ever wore! Too bad I'm a size 13 wide. 😢They looked like space boots on me. I wish they were slimmer, but if you don't mind, then definitely buy these! I returned mine simply because they are too bulky for my style, but I'm definitely going to look into their slimmer looking boots! 🥾

Good boots for the price. water proofing could use a little work but its fixable.

I work as an equipment operator as well as a ground guy for installing waterway systems and underground storm water pipes. naturally i find myself in 6 inches+ of mud and water on the daily and im fairly hard on my boots. ive had these boots for about 6 to 7 months now. they are very comfortable out of the box and as long as you take care of them they take care of you. personally i pushed the idea of "water proof" to its limits and it didnt quite hold up. however! after i treated the boots with boot oil and a good coating of boot wax, the boots work just fine. i can stand in 6 inches of water for about 4 hours before any water gets into the boot and what does get in is minimal. the only concern i have now is the synthetic welt on the boot has started to crack. id really love to see a leather welt on this boot. but for the price, if you dont mind putting some oil and wax on them, youd have a good boot that should last about a year with some hard wear. i was a carpenter for about 15 years before this job and i gotta say, if youre a steel framer like i was, maybe look at a different model, im not sure the toe will hold together all that well.

The cruel shoes - painful!!

Many design flaws make these a very uncomfortable boot! The listing says composite toe but then the description says steel toe and felt like it probably was steel ...but I didn't have a magnet to find out which part of the description was wrong. ....regardless after wearing for less than half a day that ridge end of the toe box rubbed my toe knuckles raw. These need to have better padding around the edges of the steel or a higher box or longer or maybe shorter one just not be sharp and terminate at exactly where the back of your toes are- I doubt everyone has short flat toes and feet- i have high arches and my toes slightly curl / if your feet are like mine these will not work! My second issue was the rubber used on the soles are very slick and although they might be waterproof if you walk on any smooth wet surface you'll slip around like you're on oil. Lastly the top eyelets are too close to the upper edge of the cuff and if you're actually using these as work boots to ugh do work in your going to be squatting and leaning snd the upper edges of the cuff will also abrade your ankle which is probably why there is a tongue keeper. I've owned Bates, Chippawa, Under Armour, Carhartt, Timberland, Wolverine, Reebok, Georgia Boot, Blackhawk, Converse, Merrel, Keen and countless others without any of these issues so basically almost ANYTHING is better than these!

Wide and heavy.

I was looking for composite toe boots to help alleviate some of the weight as I had been wearing redwing steel toes. I wear a 12 wide and always have. Never have I seen a 12 wide that was loose on my foot. These are. They are heavy for composite toe boots. I have worn them for one week and they also leave something to be desired regarding structural endurance as they do not seem to be able to take much of a beating they scuff and scratch easily, we have not been drilling this week so I couldn't give them the grit we usually put on our foot wear kicking shovels but the boots do not feel very strong. That's the bad. The good aspects are comfort and sturdy laces. We do a lot of walking and the seem to be okay as far as keeping my feet from being sore. These would almost be more of hiking boot or something like that. Hope it helps. I wouldn't buy them again.

Excellent workboot

Doesn't take long to break these bad boys in! Comfy especially where the composite toe sits. I am on an open construction site (ifkyk) and removing water is on the front burner and my feet are DRY! My only lament is knowing I'm gonna rough up such a good lookin boot
