Classic style with futuristic materials
These lace-up sneakers are the perfect upgrade to a classic white shoe. The stain-resistant coating is a total game changer. I spilled coffee on them and it wiped right off without leaving a mark. They stay looking new much longer than canvas shoes. The comfort is instant thanks to the recycled foam insole. The aloe-vera coated liner is a unique touch that makes them soft enough to wear without socks. I love knowing they are made from corn waste and coconut instead of plastic. The take-back program makes this a guilt-free purchase.

Nice looking, good quality, not for wide feet.
I hadn't heard of this brand before and I am pretty impressed. They have put a lot of thought in to the product and sustainability features. When you've worn them out, you can send them back to the company to be recycled. They come in a fancy box and include a fabric bag for the shoes. But of course those kinds of features are nice but what about the actual shoe, right? The shoes are well made, vegan leather. I am a female. These are marketed as men's shoes. I am on the high end of the women's foot scale at a half size that most brands don't carry. So I often purchase men's shoes. These fit in my usual 10.5 mens. So they should be sized as expected except for one thing. Sometimes men's shoes can be a bit wide on me. That is absolutely not the case here. So if you prefer a wider shoe, I would probably skip these as they are already a more snug fit. The style itself narrows a bit at the toes too. They work for me but won't for those with wider feet. I also feel like the bottom is very flat and not very flexible. So it has taken a little wearing in for me. I tend to wear more flexible shoes. These are a touch stiff but should be fine after a few wears.Overall, they are well made. The insoles seem put together a bit haphazardly though. Odd because they are better insoles than most but the top layer is just attached weird. It hangs off the edges. It doesn't create any rub factor for me though. You can always replace them if you want something different. The price was close to about $145. They are currently on sale at about $116. That does seem like a typical market price for quality shoes in this style but may be overpriced to some people. These aren't athletic shoes but more a casual wear, every day shoe for office, or errands (depending on your office environment). They are water and stain resistant which makes keeping them clean a bit easier.Overall, a nice shoe with impressive sustainability features and best suited to standard or narrow feet.

Unique color
These sneakers caught my eye due to their rather unique color of not-quite-tan / not-quite-beige / off-white. I have brown sneakers and tan sneakers, but I actually really like these in-between colored sneakers for their muted style, while also appreciating that their vegan and recycled materials construction offers quality that looks and feels like leather but does not carry the ethical or environmental impacts thereof. The sneakers fit true to size and are quite comfortable, and the materials are nice and easy to clean, so they'll keep that unique color for many wears.

Go A Size Up
These shoes seem to have decent construction and would give you at least six months under daily wear. Although the design may seem basic. It only gives advantage to the many ways they can be worn. The insole isn't bad for general comfort and I love their policy on recycling and being manufactured from recycled materials. Much to my dismay the fit was extremely snug in the toe box. Everywhere else was a great fit.

Vegan Sneakers, doesn't get any better than that
These sneakers are Comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. Love the recyclable design and everyday wearability. They feel like you're walking on pillows. They provide a bit of arch support, and they are very easy to clean.

Good shoe, interesting to recycle materials but not much information given
I’ve been in the market for a plain white sneaker, so I tried Thousand Fell. I thought it looks nice, and the company is pushing an interesting business model with recycling the shoes and other textiles.I ordered the 9.5 size which is where I usually fit regular shoes. And yes these fit works. I have gotten used to wide shoes, as that is what I get for running shoes. They don’t offer a wide. The regular fits me OK, but would rather have a wide option. If you absolutely need wide, these are probably not for you.Next, the insoles are better than average, but not the strongest you can add to shoes. They have some extra padding in the heals but no arch support. I’m considering to add an arch support insert. The construction and materials seem to be really good. The faux leather feels good to my touch. So far they seem really well built, but time will tell. I don’t consider these athletic shoes, more lounging, nights out or casual office wear. One issue, the box is interesting, but, left blue marks on the shoes during shipping. I was able to remove those with a magic eraser, but this could be a problem if the blue gets worked in more. The advertising in Amazon does not explain the process of turning in shoes and materials for recycling, and how that earns credit toward a Thousand Fell products. It looks like an account is needed to learn more, and I haven’t done that yet. Also, I was curious about the business, where the idea came from and how the brand name relates to recycling shoes. But they don’t provide much details on the company or where it came from. The price is a bit high for what you get, but if you like the notion of recycling materials into shoes, its worth a look and a try. THe basic white shoes doo look nice and are comfortable enough for casual wear.
