Great boot I love them

If you’re on your feet all day in tough conditions and need safety toe protection with waterproofing, this boot is a strong pick. You’ll get durable construction, good heel support, and comfort features designed for long shifts. Just be aware: it might feel a bit heavy at first and may require a short break-in. If your priority is ultra-light weight, you might want to compare alternatives.

Almost perfect, but still giving 5/5

Great fit. I purchased these as well as the ones with the metaguard. They fit the same even though one is the Endurance EV, and the other is the Endurance. EV has a composite toe protector, regular has a steel toe protector. They dig into you where the combo hole/speed lace things attach, but you get used to it after a few days and it either goes away, or I’ve stopped feeling it. They’re on the heavy side so you feel it in your hips after a long day. They look great! Honestly very impressed with the aesthetics. I also own the slip-on EVs and I wish they’d stick to the same size as the shoes I originally ordered a 12W as that’s the boot size, but sent them back because they were HUGE. Ordered the 10.5W as per the “size-guide” and measuring my foot per instructions and they’re slightly small, so my toes are jammed a bit. I’ll order the 11 or 11.5 wide next time. But I highly recommend these boots. Also with the timberland pro quarter socks they are a perfect length come above boot about an inch, so you can wear boots and shorts if you want.

My husband loves these boots!

My husband for years wore Timberland Pro tan work boots 6" insulated waterproof with composite toe. Seems they stopped making them. So, we found these and they have all the same qualifications he needs and look great on him. He says they are very comfortable and seem to be wearing very well. I like the black on him better than the tan.

They RUINED the Endurance with this new design.

I ordered this apparently new version of the Timberland PRO Endurance work boot that I've been wearing for the better part of the last decade. The original Endurance was the most comfortable work boot I've ever worn. It's like walking on clouds. This new version is awful. It has a cheaper, harder insole, and there are two hard points on the tongue that are tearing the front of my ankles up. This is one of the most painful work boots I've ever worn.I hope that I'm mistaken and that this is not the way the Endurance will be moving forward. If so I'll have to find another boot to wear. I did return these boots and Amazon accepted the return so that part was okay.

Heavy, Well Protected BUT the Fit Within a Particular Size and Quality Are Not Always Consistent

This is a heavily-armored safety shoe that should stand up to a daily beating. It is a bit heavier than many shoes designed to address situations requiring good foot protection. Whether the extra weight is acceptable is a highly personal decision. My size is usually 9.5M, so that's what I initially ordered. I found both shoes to be tight side-to-side and they pressed on my "big toes." (A description of the particular toes - Not that my toes are any larger pm average than those of most people...) So, I ordered a size 10M, which I found to be excessively long. Theorizing that possibly a 9.5W could be the answer, I ordered them only to find that they were way to wide to the point that my feet slipped around inside them. That left me wondering how to find the best fit for my seemingly oddly-sized feet... Once again, I ordered a pair of 9.5M with the hoping that there might be some variability in sizing, no matter how remote. Indeed, both were a significantly better fit, as the length seemed about right and the toe caps didn't seem to press on the top of my big toes. Then, ipon closer examination, i noticed that the right shoe had a defect in the manner it was stitched on the top of the lower section extending over the foot and toes. So, once again, I ordered a different pair (9.5M) to see if I might receive yet another pair that both fit and were properly constructed.I'm still evaluating that pair I've just recently received, though it appears that there are no defects on initial examination and they seem to fit well on a cursory period of wear.My takeaway is as follows: Although a very substantial safety shoe, this particular model appears to have some variability in the manner of its construction that could potentially affect its performance and comfort, especially with prolonged use. I strongly urge anyone ordering this model to examine what is received very closely to ensure that the fit is precisely what is desired. I would also recommend that, should this model have all the desired features, but the size is a bit off, it may be of some utility to simply return them and reorder another pair in the same or close sizing, as what might be received could potentially be a better fit. My experience suggests that both shoes in each pair be carefully examined to ensure there are no construction issues. Whether or not it's worth some time and inconvenience to do the above is an individual decision based on one's investment in the outcome with this particular model shoe. They are certainly a heavily-crafted shoe that should protect one's feet in some of the most adverse working conditions. If, after a prolonged period of use, this shoe presents difficulties, I will return with an update. If no further comment is present, the reader can conclude that it has fulfilled my expectations. It may take a few months of use before I am able to fully evaluate their performance with which to comment further if necessary.

Heavy but comfortable

The boot is heavier than expected. In examining the boot by removing the insole there is extra cushioning built into the boot itself beyond the the cushion provided by the pad. I foresee these boots lasting for a while. My first day of wearing them for a 10 hours shift, my feet felt great.
