Great boots

These are great boots. Comfortable and sized right. Wish I could still get this model in soft toe. But the safety toe is sized so you don't feet it. Wear them 12+ hours a day and best shoes I own

Great boots and would buy again.

These are high quality boots. I have used Timberland PRO Titan safety boots in the past and they are relatively light weight for steel toed boots. Once you break them in a little bit they are very comfortable and can hold up to some punishment. I'm sure they would even last longer if I did my part and kept them clean and treated with mink oil or other waterproof leather protector. I just use and abuse and they hold up well and have protected my foot when a heavy oak log rolled back on me. Without the steel toe I'm certain I would have been in a lot of pain or possibly broken my toes. I like the comfort so much that I wear them a lot even when I don't need the safety toe protection. I did however just order a different pair of Timberland Pro's for around $65 (Amazon) that is the non-safety toe variety.

Great quality

These are great work boots with a steel toe for safety. They are comfortable, even for 12 hour work days. They are made well and look great. A lot of compliments have been given on various job sites. The heel is very substantial and durable/rugged. I expect these to last a long time. The last pair of Timberland Pro in a slightly different style lasted a few years. That says a lot with heavy use and rough conditions. I think this pair will hold up just as well. They fit great for a wide foot as well.

Very Comfortable -- 4.5 stars

I work at a lumber plant, and I was tired of buying work boots from Walmart and having them fall apart after 3 or 4 months. I do a lot of walking every day on concrete and steel graded floors, and cheap work boots are comfortable and nice for a little while, but none lasted me a long time. I'm not a big guy either, almost 6 feet and 160 pounds, so I'm not packing much weight.I tried on a pair of these at a local store, except they were the 8 inch rather than the 6, and I loved them. I knew they would be cheaper online though, and amazon always rocks. So I decided to give these a shot. I live in very cold temperatures during the fall/winter time, and I wanted to avoid getting steel toe because they are heavy, and freeze the feet. The safety toe is wonderful, and it is extremely light. Also love the fact that they are waterproof.I normally wear size 12, but I tried on an 11.5 in the store, so I decided to go with it. At first my feet were somewhat cramped, and there were a couple areas that rubbed in my left foot for some reason, but not the right... But after about 3 weeks, they completely went away, and the left boot is as comfortable as the right. Something I did that helped was after having the shoelaces looped through the hook for the first couple of weeks, I put it through the hole, and that subsided most of the rubbing, which was on the inside of my left ankle. Now all there's left to do is see how long they last. I'm hoping over a year. My feet have remained nice and warm so far, but we haven't hit super cold temps yet.So I've had these for about a month and they are great. Very light and warm, feet stay dry. 4.5 out of 5 for the mild discomfort at first... And depending on how long they last.Recommended!UPDATE, 3/5/2014Well, I started wearing these in September 2012 and they reached their end. The soles wore down very much and I didn't have much grip left. Both boots ended up wearing down a lot on the interior portions on the balls of my feet, there were holes starting... I guess I favor the insides of my feet. I ended up shoe-gooing a couple ares on each boot, where the sole met the leather, they weren't huge tears or anything but there was some minor separation going on.. It wasn't super necessary.I also ended up using Sno Seal on them because they weren't 100% waterproof. The laces stayed almost 100% intact though! Only thing wrong with them were the ends, they started to fray a bit.Overall, they did their job nicely. I may have worn them a month or two too long actually but there was no tearing, no separation of the sole, no holes in the leather. They were mostly warm. I did slip and slide on the snow/ice a lot because of the soles wearing down but that's also the area I live in.Were they worth ~$130? Eeehhhhhhhhh maybeeee...?I'm following these up with some steel toe Cats, I believe they are Second Shift 6" Steel Toe. They ended up being about $55 cheaper after tax so we'll see how those hold up.Thank you for reading :)

Great, comfortable safety toe boots, Highly Recommend.

I've been battling plantar faciatis for a few months. Tried several boots on at local store, these were by far best feeling on foot. They didn't have my size (had tried 1/2 size to small), so ordered from Amazon. So far very happy with them, I gave 5-stars, almost 4, as the design of lace system isn't very good. Takes more effort to get them comfortably tied than any other safety boot I've worn. However, the comfort of them far outweighs that, wish I could have given them 4.75 stars, but rounded up to 5.Only took a couple days wearing them for a few hours at a time to break them in.I work in Auto manufacturing, & frequently on my feet 8~12+ hours a day. My feet are still sore at end of day, but not near as bad as before these boots.

Absolutely the best.

I needed a composite toe work boot for my occupation as an Reactor Service Technician. I do a lot of standing over extended periods of time so it was imperative that I had a comfortable and durable pair of boots.First off, the fit is spot on, or at least it was for me. I prefer to wear these over any of my shoes. It took about 1 week for the boot to fully conform to my foot and ankle but once it did I could hardly notice it's existence. I have only just started to notice internal wear on the back in the heel but it's just barely noticeable so time will tell how far it erodes.A really nice feature is the top shackle which allows you to just pull the string up and over it to tie it and vice versa for untying. Trust me, this is very handy after spending 14+ hours in these, albeit a comfortable 14 hours, but after that amount of time my feet want free and getting out of these is a 10 second process. The grip is phenomenal, I have stepped over black ice at all sorts of angles to test it and while it slips the slip is predictable and usually short lived. There are some rugged splines in the arch of the sole which are very well engineered and I found them awesome for climbing ladders. The boot itself is visually pleasing, when I look at other guys footwear I never have any regrets. The only downside is that the toe of the boot is prone to wear, but I feel this is usually the case for any leather material. So I don't hold it against the boot or manufacturer. All in all, I love these, and when the time comes will probably stick with the same brand for my next pair.
