Best Boots I’ve Ever Owned
Best work boot I’ve ever beaten to death — 18 months on framing crews and these Timberland PRO Direct Attach 6” steel toes are still kicking.I live in these 50-60 hrs a week: mud, concrete, ladders, -10°F to 100°F, you name it. They’re 100 % waterproof (no soggy socks even after standing in puddles all day), the steel toe has already saved me twice, the anti-fatigue sole keeps my dogs from barking on 14-hour pours, and the lugs still grab like new.Quick sizing note that surprised the hell out of me: unlike every other pair of Timberlands I’ve ever owned (which all run big), these Direct Attach run true to size. I normally wear 10.5 in PROs and Courmayeurs and always size down to 10. Grabbed a 10 this time and could barely jam my foot in with thin socks. Ended up exchanging for 10.5 and they’re perfect with thick Darn Toughs. So if you live in heavy socks heavier than dress weight, definitely size up ½ size.Other than that one curveball, zero complaints. Leather still looks good, no blown seams, tread is barely worn. Already bought a backup pair. For $150 these are stupidly tough and stupidly comfortable. Highly recommend.
