Good for wide feet, tough and well made.
I have very wide feet. These fit perfectly and feel very comfortable. I have had the same pair for about four and a half years and I'm not easy on shoes. I had no trouble with them except after about 3 years, the sole started separating on the right shoe. That also caused water to start seeping in. I did get some shoe glue and that held for almost a year. Now it's time to get another pair, but I will be ordering these again.

A great, comfortable boot for a great price
These boots are amazing in every sense of the word. But before I get into way, let me preface this with a couple of things...1. I do not wear these for a living. I wear them because they offer great ankle support, are incredibly comfortable and look great with jeans, slacks and even shorts if that is your look.2. I am fortunate enough to have a Boot Barn close to me so I was able to go and try these on before buying them.3. I've only had them for a couple of days. These boots are an amazing buy for their price point. They are sturdy, high quality, comfortable and great looking shoes. They are lightweight for a work boot, they form to my fat foot like a glove, handle my weird foot/step rotation and stay secure on my foot without any movement. They are easy to get on and off and pretty much come broken in. There is nothing that I can find wrong with these boots. One thing I want to point out... I am a 12 wide. Often times that means that a 12 regular will fit me but will look like a ball trying to escape a thin sheet of wet paper because the laces will not close the shoe well enough. These are no exception. If you wear a wide shoe, buy the wide shoe. Also, these run about a half size large, so unless you plan to put insoles in these (which you don't really need to do) or you plan to wear thick wool socks (which you might need to do), buy a half size smaller than you normally wear. And if you are not used to wearing a boot over the ankle, you might want to give yourself a couple of days of wearing these around the house to get used to them. They are not like high tops... these are ankle boots and they feel like it. They are tight, secure and ungiving... all qualities you want in a quality boot. But they can take some getting used to if these aren't something you normally wear. If you do wear ankle boots normally, these shouldn't even be something you notice.Overall I would say if you are considering getting a composite safety boot, these should definitely be on your list of things to consider. They are well worth it in my opinion.

Its a great boot for tower work.
I work on 300 foot towers and have been using these boots for over 6 months; I will buy these again when they fail in a couple of years.Size:Timberland run bigger than most other boots in my experience and after trying on at retail store I bought a size down. They also offer wide sizes which is a big plus for me.Comfort:Out of the box they are very comfortable, the insert is very good quality. I have worked 12+ hours on my feet and they feel great at the end of the day. However; I went on a hike in them the first day and the rear heel shank on the left boot gave me a lot of discomfort, but hasn't bothered me since. I don't recommend hiking in them.Durability:The soul is coming off around the edges, and the red tread on the bottom is starting to peel off, but can be glued back. The leather on the steel toe seems to get chewed up faster than the rest of the boot but it hasn't split open yet. I don't expect the boot to last more than a couple of years but I would buy again since there is no break in time.Very comfortable, but kind of pricey for something that doesn't feel built to last.

Perfect Automotive Boots
Over 16 years working in automotive repair, 3 pairs before now, and they're still the ones I trust to get me through those intermittent rough noisy days. That'd be about a pair every 5 years. Yeah some had cracks develop in the section where the toes and foot bend. A few times the sole started to come loose a bit, but Shoegloo is a great product to have to solve that. There's a bit of a breaking in period to bear...but I'm telling ya...these have always been the most comfortable boots to wear for a full days worth of working. Never had foot fatigue. Go through the break in period and these boots will feel like you're wearing sneakers maybe. They're lightweight with some kind of metallic/alloy toe guard. I saw it when the leather wore out from years of body/interior/electrical work, but never fell out.Normally I wear about 8.5 US in sneakers, but I go up to 9 so my feet don't get crammed because I wore boot socks or hiking socks.Never had a problem of them getting waterlogged and the soles are oil resistant so that helps to keep from falling. Unless the floor is coated and has oil on it. But even then, I didn't slip or fall.So glad to know that I can get my feet into a pair still and hope they keep making these boots!
