Great Timberland boots! They were very comfortable right out of box. The style is also very nice, not chunky at all. I am really fussy b/c of my narrow high arched feet, so believe me comfort is a must. . I usually take 7.5-8 so I purchased size 8. They fit perfectly but I can’t wear heavy socks, which is not a problem for me. I am very pleased with this purchase. They shipped within in promised time and appear to be well made. I might even buy a backup pair

I wear these everyday.
These shoes are great. I use my hiking boots every day on city streets and wooded terrain walking dogs 2-3 miles. They have proven to be waterproof and they are nice and lightweight, so I dont feel like I am clodding about.I like that they don't have an abundance of unnecessary seams. My last 2 pairs of expensive hiking boots I bought from REI tore within 6 months of use along front seams, though still usable, are no longer waterproof.They grip reasonably well on snow and ice and are great on hills and rocks, wet or dry. My only complaint is that the top two laces sometimes pop out of the hooks as I think they are placed too far forward on the ankle. I have very narrow ankles so that may be part of the problem. It took very little time to wear in. I do need to add arch supports as I have high arches and these do not provide maximum arch support.

Just can't go wrong with Timberland!
I love my new Timberland hiking boots. These were on my radar for several months before they went on sale, and I snatched them up. I'm so happy with them. I like that they are a very sturdy hiking boot that are comfortable and supportive around the ankle. They are true to size, although they do fit closely around the foot and ankle. If your feet are very wide, I would recommend sizing up half a size. One just can't go wrong with Timberland!
