Seriously fantastic!!

I haven't had a pair of timberland boots in probably ten years.... I tend to think that they are a little to 'ghetto' for me lol, but I do love the quality and how they look on males... This boot is exactly what I was looking for, a cute waterproof stylish boot, that is Sooo comfortable and warm and very in style. I wear them with leggings And jeans, love love love. I was very happy with the fit, because I had read other reviews. I guess it runs a little large, so I ordered a 8.5 and it is perfect. Definitely worth the 99$ wit h I found to b a bargain for timberland, jump on these if u can, because I know they will last for the next five years!

Had a little mishap, but not taking that into account these are great shoes!

The boots are great! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I never have problems with width, so I would say the width is medium. I range anywhere from a 9 to a 10 depending on the make, so I played it safe and went with a 9.5. The color is a tad lighter than in the picture, but it is definitely taupe. The teddy fleece is very soft and pretty sturdy, though it will shed if you pull too hard (no surprise there though). They are a little hard to put on, but nothing that loosening the laces can't solve.Unfortunately, my pair came in with one damaged. It had pieces missing out of the rubber sole and had clearly been tampered with prior to being shipped. And the one shoe with the defects started showing heavy signs of wear (major creasing) after only wearing them three times to my job, which is a simple retail gig. I knew that was definitely not supposed to happen, especially given that Timberland boots are heavy duty, I had been wearing them for a short amount of time and being very careful with them, and that only one was deteriorating out of the pair. However, Amazon quickly responded to my issue and took care of the problem very quickly. I look forward to getting a fresh new pair, because these boots are perfect.

Great boots!

I'm a Floridian who just moved to PA, so I bought these boots to prepare for the gross slushy snow. I obviously can't assess how they are in the snow yet since it's only October, but what I can tell you is that these suckers have traction and they're heavy. They're so hard core that I'm afraid to wear them around my toddler and cats for free that I'll crush their little toes with one misstep -- but I don't count that against them.I usually wear a size 8.5 - 9 in normal shoes and decided to go with 8.5 with these and I'm so glad I did. When I first put them on, they were pretty roomy BUT when I tried them with my thick wool socks, they fit perfectly! They'll need some breaking in, though. Also, I immediately replaced the shoe laces because the ones that come with them are so thin that they just take away the general bada** vibe of the boots. They're super soft on the inside, if that sort of thing matters to you.I love these. So far, I think they're totally worth the price. I'll update in Jan once I really get to test out their waterproofness.Hope this helped!

fit well, warm, comfortable and stylish!

I have been looking for a pair of winter boots for travel and on days when my heavy duty Sorel boots are too much or my Uggs aren't enough, if that makes sense. Many stylish boots are either as heavy as my Sorels, overpriced for what I need them for, or aren't truly a boot for snowy, icy weather. I stumbled across these and was a bit hesitant because I wasn't sure if I was stylish enough to pull off timberlands (kind of stupid, I know!). Im in my early/mid 30s living in New York and have always seen timberlands on younger women or teens around here. I fell in love with the ginger glaze color and the photos other reviewers have posted here really helped me make my decision. I loved the price and the fact these are fleece lined. I liked the waterproof factor as well. What made me decide to buy them was the tread/sole. It looked like they could really handle snow and ice. I ordered my exact size and when they arrived they were a bit snug with thin socks. These boots arent lightweight either. They have a nice substantial feel due in part to the tread/sole. My feet are not narrow but on the narrower side of average. I wore them around my apartment for about 20 minutes and they began to fit better. I couldn't believe how comfortable they are! I played around with the different ways of wearing them (folded down, laced all the way up) and after checking out pinterest I settled on lacing them up until almost the top but not the top 2 holes and tying the laces loosely. I'm so glad I found these because I was worried I might have to choose between function and fashion and these boots definitely allow you to have both!

Very warm!! Not 100% waterproof but good enough for light rain and snow.

I'm a US 9 in every pair of shoes that I own (running, flats, sneakers, heels) and ordered a 9 in these boots but they definitely run large. My toes have so much room to wriggle around that I feel them sliding to the front when I'm walking even slightly down hill! I considered sizing down but was worried that it might be too small since they don't do half sizes. My initial solution was to tie the laces tighter to prevent my feet from slipping but that meant more pressure around my ankles so I added an insole from another pair of shoes and that has been much better in supporting my feet. I have to say that they are not 100% waterproof though. When walking around in rain and snow, there is definitely moisture seeping in around the toes, which leaves me feeling really cold. Thankfully the fleece lining keeps the rest of my feet warm so the cold is contained to my toes, though that's still not ideal. Very surprised since this product has the waterproof marking on the outside. I have to say that in dry weather, I do appreciate the fleece lining. It has kept me warm in subzero temperatures, sometimes so warm that my feet are sweating by the time I get home! The tread on the outer sole of the shoe has been very good in the snow, something I've appreciated on those icy, slushy days.
