Cold feet cure
I purchased these boots for a weekend in Massachusetts that would be spent primarily outdoors in February. It *maybe* reached 30 degrees during the day while I was there. I also almost always have cold feet, and not just in winter. I wanted boots that would keep my feet warm without impeding my ability to drive, and allow me to walk around comfortably. I have Sorel Glacier boots for heavy snow conditions but they aren’t ideal for lots of walking. “Cute” winter boots offer me the same temperature protection as a pair of sneakers (which is none). Don’t even get me started on the notion that faux fur is somehow the same as real shearling. It’s not. I’ve tried Uggs in the past for the real shearling warmth but those don’t seem to offer any arch support whatsoever. Seemed ridiculous that I had to choose between warmth or looks.I’m happy to say these were very comfortable to walk around in. While indoors and in a car these boots got my feet HOT (which never happens). I wish I could say when I was outside my feet were warm but they weren’t. BUT they also weren’t cold. If I wasn’t actively paying attention to my feet to see how these boots worked out I wouldn’t have noticed my feet at all. That might not sound like a ringing endorsement but it’s way more than any other regular looking, every day sort of boot has ever accomplished.I didn’t have much opportunity to test their snow capabilities. There was some light snow on the ground and my socks stayed dry, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they hold up in more serious winter conditions.So if you always have ice cold feet and want something that will let you drive easily, provides foot support and doesn’t look like you’re about to go on an Arctic adventure these are great boots.

I have sciatic issues and am leery of buying shoes online. I took a chance with the and JACKPOT! They were comfortable from the get-go (not too stiff, enough arch support, wide footbed), totally waterproof (I live on PacNW where it rains more than it snows but it still gets chilly), great tread (I swear I could walk up a wall), and warm! Got these right before we got hit with a cold front of negative 24 with wind and these kept my feet warm while outside taking care of animals. Wasn't any snow to test these out in it blew away lol and these are so comfy I fell asleep on the couch in them even there not heavy at all and despite them being a mid calf lace up they slip on and off pretty easy. Lots of compliments from woman while wearing them to the store and on errands also. UPDATE wore these in foot and a half of snow and still kept my feet warm 🙃 I'd also got some Columbia ice maiden 2 boots and my toes froze so I am very happy these boots do good in snow also 🙂
