I got the burgundy and it's a beautiful oil tanned leather for the shoe part
These are some gorgeous looking boots. I got the burgundy and it's a beautiful oil tanned leather for the shoe part, while the shank is a matching suede. I love that you can wear them either folded down with the shearling exposed or rolled up with a more combat-boot style look. They're super comfy and the inside is all shearling EXCEPT the footbed. I'll probably buy insoles and throw them in there to make it complete, but the boots themselves are quality. My 4th pair of Timberland boots (I have two pairs of riding boots, a pair of hiking boots and now these) and all of them are quality shoes that are going to last for years. (My hiking ones are from 15 years ago!)

Warm and comfortable.
These boots are comfortable and kept my feet warm in 30 degree weather. They were actually comfortable to wear on a 9 hour transatlantic flight. They are waterproof as stated and maintained their pretty color when wet. I have purchased Timberland boots in the past and have always been pleased with their products. This pair is right up there with the others..

The quality of these boots is great! Comfortable
The quality of these boots is great! Comfortable, yet solid and durable. A lot of compliments. I went with gray because I'm one of those people that doesn't like pairing black and brown so grey seems like a good compromise. The boots don't look true to color on amazon's site but in person they are a medium-dark standard grey which I was pleased with. Some people said the ankle was not roomy enough or that they were too narrow, which concerned me, but they fit perfectly! So happy I went with these boots. I didn't see a pic of the boot bottom on here so I've included one so you can see it has substantial traction.

Great boots!
I love these boots! I wear a 51/2 wide or 6 m but I always get a bigger size in boots. I went with the 7 1/2 and it was perfect. There was a tiny bit of extra room but that was fine. No rubbing, though. Very warm and comfortable. Easy on and off. Great in snow and slush.Best price I could find, too.

Size up, warm, heavy
Timberland is a great brand for hiking footwear. I bought these because I was going to a cold climate where I would be hiking. They are warm and held up well in the rain. They are pretty stiff and very heavy. I usually wear a 6 and bought a 6.5 so that I could wear warm socks. My wool winter sock (medium thickness) were too thick, so I bought some thin wool/cashmere socks. They worked well, fit and were warm. I would recommend going a full size up if you want to wear thicker socks.

Cute, Functional and Comfy!!
I gave them 5 stars but they are a tiny bit narrow across the toe box. I also didn't know they were lined completely in fleece on the inside which is probably why they fit me a little snug. I am hoping they stretch out a bit as I wear them. A wide would be too wide I think. I am not sure how long I can wear them. I said a couple hours because I have only wore them for about 2 hours so far and it needs to be very cold to wear them due to the fleece inside. I will say that I traipsed quite far in those 2 hours with feet that had been killing me from other shoes that had blistered my pinky toes, so that is a good sign for the future comfort of these! I have had traditional timberlands before and literally travelled the globe in them. Looking forward to a cold winter so I can wear them. Cute with leggings flipped over like the pick or great with bootcut jeans laced up!!
