I was looking for a shorter boot for winter and these had good reviews. Straight out of the box, they fit true to size and are comfortable. They were a little hard to get on in that I am used to boots with a side zipper, but now that I have worn them a few times they are easier to get on. I have not found them to be tight with somewhat thicker, wool socks (think Smartwool). They seem to have decent tred for the snow/slush here in MN. I am on my feet all day and have worn then two days in a row, no issues and minimal break in time, I expect the will get more comfortable as the leather stretches. I got brown, love the color with the contrast of the black elastic.
The boots are true to size . They are very comfortable ( I have neuropathy ) and easy to walk in .They look great with jeans or dresses or legging . They are easy to wipe down and I love them . Very happy !
After being slightly snug across at first these are very comfortable including nice cushioning that feels like memory foam. Feel like they’ll be durable. I love the leather quality and that it’s NOT nubuck which always feels cheap to me.My only complaint is the back pull tab is too short to use. Even my pinky barely fits. I added a leather cord to pull these on. I have a high instep so my feet don’t slip on as easily as otherwise would without that.
Was looking for chelsea ankle boots. Found these on sale. Have prime, but these took about a week from ordering to arrival (I knew that when I ordered). Super comfortable. Wore them full day straight out of the box. I'm on my feet a lot and walking was comfortable. Would be great for fall/winter travel. Not clunky. Not sure about warmth or how well they will resist water.
I love these boots but they run a little big. I usually wear a 7.5 but should have ordered a 7.
I'm very petite and wear a size 5.5 and have never been able to wear more than a 6 in any shoe (the 6 usually in a boot). I ordered the 6 and had to force my foot in and then it was so tight a neighbour had to come over to help me remove it! I decided to try a 7 - 1 size larger than I've ever worn. They were quite long (unlike the 6) but so narrow I couldn't even wear a thin sock. I have NEVER had to order a "wide" in any shoe. And I've worn a size 5.5 (or a 6 sometimes in a boot with socks) for 50 years.
