Cushioned Zero Drop Trail Shoe
I have been a long time user of the Topo Mountain Racer due to their wide toe box. These are even better than the Topo Mountain Racer. They have better cushioning and the heel stays locked in better than the Mountain Racer. The tongue of this shoe is very secure. If you are looking for a zero drop shoe with good cushioning, this is your shoe!

High quality, minimal drop shoe
The perfect running, hiking or walking shoe for that challenging trail you like to complete. These shoes have enough cushion and stability to support my 6’4” frame. The grip is incredible in rocky, muddy, sandy or combo terrain. Bonus: they are available in wide sizes. Well worth the price!

Great cushioning on trap rock running trails. Foam is soft in warm weather but stiffens up in cold weather. Great traction Never slips. Very cool looking change for Topo. Wide sizes not always available. Have a cold weather race coming up and wish these stayed soft in cold weather conditions

Heel wore through
While affording proper cushioning against a rocky trail, within ten miles the inside heel padding wore through. I am still wearing them, but this is NOT a top-of-the-line shoe.

Throw your other trail sneakers away
I’m a land surveyor and I HATE wearing boots, I have tried Hoka, Keen, Lems, and Merrell trial shoes. I put about 5-8 miles a day on my feet, Topo are the BEST I have ever worn. I would highly recommend them to any that enjoys on and off trail hiking.

Almost great? Insole is perplexing
So, I'm a huge Topo fan. The Atmos, Aura, Spectre, and Trailventure wp are all my favorite shoes I've ever tried and I own them all, multiple pairs of spectres. I was really excited to try the vista but as soon as I put it on I was very disappointed and impressed simultaneously... Which is strange for Topo because it's usually just all "wow these are amazing."The bad thing is the insole... It's textured with bumps all over it. Why. Why is it textured with hard bumps all over it? Even if someone thinks that's comfortable, most people won't. I don't understand why not just offer a textured insole if you want to for a niche group of people then give most people what they already love about your brand standard. It's also more firm than the foam of the shoe so the shoe has an awesome squish and bounce under your weight but you have a firm insole? For $175 I shouldn't have to even think about switching a strange bumpy insole for a standard soft insole on my max cushion trail runner. Swing and a miss. The colors are also bad IMO. The shoe might be awesome if you change the insole but I can't be bothered.

Weird
I tried these shoes and don’t recommend them, there is way too much roll back on the heel, it almost makes you feel like you’ll fall over backwards. Buy the Ultraventure instead.
