Nice quality at a nice price
Torotto vs the name brand? Torotto for the win. Yes, it's uppers are synthetic "leather". The soles are quite comfortable. I've had the Wally World knock offs that fell apart after a few months, these appear to be better constructed. Everybody's feet are different. A foot injury years ago has me critically examine foot ware before I buy, so not being able to physically examine this sandal, I figured if it doesn't fit, I'll send it back. It took two days wearing them around the house and I found they "broke in" quite easily. I'm not a big fan of the light brown color, but it was during Amazon deal days and the selection was limited with several colors in my size out of stock. I'll probably get shoe polish and darken them up.Out of the box, I didn't have to adjust the straps. They were a little snug, but after two days, they conformed to my feet. Sizing...workboots I wear a 9½. My Wally World knock offs were 9½ and way too long so I went down a size to what's labeled a size 40 (European). I researched sizing charts on Google and determined this was the best size...IIRC that equals 8½. Do your research, measure your foot and use an online chart. Width seems fine after the break in. They were a bit narrow at first, but the memory foam foot bed adjusted to my wide feet. I do wish the heel cup were a bit deeper. Overall, I'm pleased with them and the price. Why did I chose Torotto? After looking at many brands over a couple hours, these seemed to fit what I was looking for.
