Satisfaction is high! The boots are not too heavy for hiking and the materials make the boot warm and dry. My only hesitancy was the zipper not being metal but the zipper is heavy duty. The size is true although I would not wear them with thin socks as I think they are sized for heavier socks. They have only been worn a week, but I would purchase them again.
These are nice, but the fit is large. I normally wear a size 10 and that is what I ordered. Wish they had these in half sizes as I think a 9 1/2 would have been much better. Like others, the zipper on my left boot didn't stay up during the dayUPDATE: Changing my review and giving them only one star. They are warm and waterproof, but the zipper issue on BOTH boots got so bad, I threw them away. Trash. I could put these on and, while sitting, point my toe and the zipper would go down. I couldn't walk two steps in these without having to pull the zipper back up. If you want a warm, dry pair of boots to wear while standing perfectly still, buy these. If you intend to actually move while wearing them, buy something else.
Got these boots for my husband for Christmas to wear in the corral. They saved his foot from being broken the first day he wore them when one of our horses ran over his feet. These boots fit well, are very sturdy and waterproof and easy to get on and off with the zipper. They have a wide toe area which makes them very comfortable. Great product at a great price!
I just wanted to add my $0.02 to what has been said elsewhere about these. Obviously, if you have a problem with a product you tend to sound off about it, which is fair. But insofar as the build-quality of these boots, I've been very pleased. They are really exactly what I need to deal with walking around and working outside here in the northern Minnesota snow-and-ice season. I've been very pleased with them.No tearing seams, no lose flaps, just a decent pair of snow boots at a decent price. Mine are somewhat loose, but given they don't make boots like this in half-sizes, it's not unexpected.Would purchase again.
I take a 10.5 size shoe. I ordered a size 11 in this boot. The length fore to aft fits good. Remember that this is a rubber snow/rain boot and fits sloppy like one. I where these with an arch support insole and a 1/2" lift for my left foot. With this said, they still fit sloppy but I can wear them with an extra pair of wool socks and I don't wear them for more then an hour or so at a time. If I were to wear these all day, I would order them a size larger and get a pair of felt liners to take up the slop. All said I think they are a pretty good boot for bad weather.
Needed something to walk the dog in that was easy to get on/off and would keep feet dry in wet yard and walking in woods. These fit that bill. But they are a little long and wide. I wear 10 1/2 wide shoes and feared the 10 would be to short. At times can get by with 11 regular width but these have extra room. They still work for their expected purpose. I bought a pair last year at Marshalls and they ended up the same way meaning long and wide, but last spring they developed a crack above bridge of foot and let water in so I needed a new pair. Otherwise they work well. They also are good at keeping feet warm.
I was looking for some winter boots with something other than laces that are too time consuming and generally a pain to deal with. Found these reasonably priced boots with the front zipper and decided to give it a go. Got them in time for our first snow and found them to be a large fit for my normal size but will give way for nice warm thick socks which will turn this into a plus. They're already warm with the insulated lining and okay in the comfort department as well. Time will tell as to how well the zipper will hold up compared to laces.
