Good quality , very easy to get on and off and the size is true to fit. Keeps feet nice and warm
Love this boot! Bought a pair in 2002 and they are starting to crack. So decided to replace them. They are super comfortable and keep you warm and dry in the snow and slush. From Ohio and only need them a couple months out of the year. Use them to shovel snow and to walk through sloppy parking lots when going to stores.
Good gripping soles. Good quality construction. My last pair came with zippers on both sides. This pair has zippers on only one side of the boot. Be sure to get correct size. They are very size sensative. My last pair lasted through six Buffalo winters before the zippers gave out.
Wore this for the first time during a heavy rainstorm after buying it and it worked flawlessly keeping my feet dry as well as being comfortable to move around in. Only very minor gripe is that I ordered it in the size I usually wear and it ran just a little big. Not a huge issue if you use a thick sock or add some extra insoles for additional cushioning. Obviously this is not a running shoe so it's ok to run a little big since you'll (I assume) primarily be hiking with it or simply walking around.Gave it a good cleaning and covered it in an additional coating of Atsko Silicone Water Guard (you can find it on Amazon and retail stores). Now the shoe is extra impervious to water, mud and moisture and should last many years to come - unless I fall in the drink with it. In any case - good shoe and great price.
I was specifically looking for water proof winter boots that I did not have to lace. These zippered boots are exactly what I was looking for. They keep my feet warm and dry. I have worn them through melting snow areas with ankle deep water and they did not leak. The only issue that I have with them is that my feet seem to slip a little at the heels. I wear size 9 wide in a lace up walking or running shoe. I had tried a 9 regular in a store and they were way too loose on my feet. I ordered size 8.5 wide, and they were too loose also. I settled on 8.5 regular which still are a little bit big for my feet, but with orthodic inserts they fit ok. I like that they look like dress shoes, and I have been wearing them nearly every day this winter. Having gotten used to them, I think that the feeling that they are a little large comes from previously wearing tightly laced combat boots.
I was looking for a-cheap pair of slip on boots to run out and get the mail, take the dog out for a quick potty break. And also just to wear to work then I change into my work boots. ( I don't like wearing my work boots home, they get pretty dirty wet, muddy ect...)So the quick slip on shoes, you no Walmart special works fine in the Sumer, but it is cold here now in northern WI. And the snow is getting deeper. So the quick slip on Walmart specials don't cut it. I always wanted a pair of this type, but really did not want to spend big money on boots I hardly wear.Ok, back to the boots. Most of my winter boots are size 13 ee and if I can not find the double ee I go to size 14's.For the price of $29.00 I thought what the heck I will try them. The boots shipped on time and boots came in very god condition, da they are new.I was excited to try them on. They went on ok, I had on thin socks at the time and they seemed a little tight. Not in the with but the length. I thought ok I can live with this I am only going to have them on a short time. So like any man, I threw the box away and the recite so now I have a cheep quick slip on boot. Low and behold I took the dog out later on and had on my work socks, ( a little heavier sock.) wow were they tight now.The boots are easy to put on and take off, the zipper on the side makes it really easy. They say they are water proof but I really would not trust them on that. The bottom of the zipper is only a couple of inches from the bottom of the boot, and I have not found any zippers to be water proof. So if you are just out In the rain , you might be aright. Stay away from puddles that more then 2 inches deep. They look nice, my work pants or jeans go right ove the top with no problems.I would still try to send them back, but size 13 was the biggest they offered. So I will continue to wear them.So my bottom line on the boots are I only gave them 3 stars for the lack of size and I think they run a little small.Durability is yet to be determined.Just remember when ordering shoes on line or boots, that with out trying them on first they may not fit like you thought they should.I am not disappointed that they are small, I just wish they offered a bigger size so I could have exchanged them.Over All, if I was going to get another pair I would not order these again ONLY, becouse they don't offer a bigger pair if I need to exchange. Other wish for a cheep slip on I think they are ok.This is just my opinion.
Great for the price. I wanted a water resistant winter boot that's easy to slip on for when I need to take out the trash or run an errand. This fits the bill perfectly. The insole isn't great for arch support, but I wasn't expecting high class comfort. A $10 insole I had laying around makes these more comfortable to wear for extended hours. They are warm and fit true to size. I got a half size larger to ease the process of putting them on and off. Traction is decent and acceptable on ice. They look appealing enough, and not overly generic or cheap. Overall very satisfied.
