Waterproof
I've been buying Totes boots as they are the only ones that seem comfortable on my wide old foot. The others did not expressly say "waterproof" and were slightly less expensive than these boots. They also leaked after some wear.I've just received them and I'm very pleased. The are study and well made and very comfortable with an insole inserted. I usually take a 7.5 wide and these 8 wides are roomy enough for thick socks and an insert. As they are a short boot they don't catch you in the back of your calf like some others do. I live on a farm in the Northwest so it's wet and muddy!.I highly recommend these boots. But WAIT!! I just walked out in new boots and granted I was walking through wet grass but these boots leaked around the seam where the zipper attaches and in the seam where the uppers are sewn. They did not leak around the bottom where the sole is but be warned, they are NOT fully waterproof.

Perfect fit and no flaws
I’ve been using Totes products all my life. When I put on my older boots recently they were much too snug for my swollen ankles. I upped two sizes, ordered, and received my new boots fast. They are a perfect fit. I can wear my heavy thermal socks and still have a comfortable fit. The boots are well made with no obvious flaws. The fuzzy interior will keep me warm in the cold weather. Zippers on both sides makes it easy to put them on, and they remove just as easy. Totes continues to make a good, reliable, durable product.

Nice Simple Boots
I finally kept this pair of boots after returning 3 other pairs. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe and bought these in size 8. They are plenty roomy. Depending on the socks you wear these with, they should be roomy enough. I like that the ankle area is wider, making them easy to slip on and off, when unzipped of course. I had a different pair of Tote's Boots that I've had for many years but they were too tight. As I've aged, my feet have spread out some and I can't stand wearing shoes that are tight, especially in the toe box. I only wear these when I take my dog out to do his business when the grass is wet or it's raining. These boots are a keeper. They're less hard and stiff than a couple other pairs that I tried on and eventually returned. The shaft is just high enough that I can tuck my pant legs in keeping them dry.

Perfect boots!
Is it raining? These boots got you. Is it snowing? These boots got you. Do you just like boots? These boots got you! I walk a parking lot all day; cold, wet, snowy, sunny, dry, no matter what these boots are comfortable, warm, and plain enough to work at work. Duel side zippers make putting them on so easy! And even easier getting them off! I've had 3 pairs of these over the past 6 years, and they are always great!! Definitely will buy again when the time comes!

Size/cut issue
The overall size felt right when I put them in but when I stood, the grade changed the feel and it was too tight across the arch. I’ve had a similar style of these boots for 2 previous pairs, so I was really disappointed they didn’t fit well.
