Perfect fit & sizing. Very comfortable foot bed. Super cute shoe to style up or down. Second pair of Tretorns I’ve bought on Amazon this month & love the different styles & fit. If you have wide width feet, order a wide size if available.
I normally wear 8.5; ordered 8.5. They fit great. I was worried they would be a bit tight like some Skechers I tried on, but they were pleasantly roomy and feel extremely comfortable. I wore them with a thinner sock; not sure how they would be with a thick sock.They are not leather. Whether or not the product description says they are leather, for $40 there's no way they would be. If they were leather, they'd probably be 70 to 100 dollars or more. Although I would prefer leather, at least I know that if I wear them in the rain they won't be ruined, since they're essentially plastic.The style of the shoes is super cute (I've seen other Tretorns that look like bowling shoes; these don't.) The slight bit of lilac colored trim on them is subtle and won't clash with different colored outfits. I love them! Great and fairly inexpensive way to get in on the white sneaker trend.
I first purchased this same pair of shoes from a major department store and in their ad description, claimed they were leather uppers. When they were delivered, the tag inside the shoe said they were man made. No leather on the upper of the shoe. However, THIS company selling on Amazon IS selling real leather uppers! I was happy and impressed with the honesty. The toe box of shoe is roomy. I am used to wearing athletic running shoes on a day to day basis, so it was a little hard to adjust to the different feel of this style (Court sneakers) of shoe. The style is flatter on the bottoms and have a different feel when walking. However, the shoes are well made, beautiful, and very stylish. If you are looking for a great pair of Court shoes, these are a great deal!
The Trenton with green trim is made of actual leather unlike a pair of Keds described as “leather” in the description and on the box that I purchased at the same time. They are comfortable and have a quality classic look. The toe box is wide yet the ankle fits nicely. They have a soft cushion inside. I wear a women’s size 9 and I nearly have no arch. I’ve worn the shoes for 5-9 hours several times.
I bought my first pair of TRETORNS many years ago - at a thrift store. I wore those shoes constantly as they were comfortable and tough - rain, snow, wet, they took a beating but always came back to looking good. When I saw an ad for them, I had to see if they were still good - and they are. They take a little breaking in but I suspect these shoes will last a lot longer than I will.
I’m not tough on these shoes as I wear them mainly to the office (where a majority of my day is sitting besides walking to eat lunch and go to my car) for their value, theyre ok. I’d rather have put the extra 20 towards higher quality shoes.
I love my new Tretorn's! I have loved Tretorn's since I had my first pair in the 90's, and these are just as fabulous. They're cute and comfortable; what else could you want!?
