I wear a 7 shoe size (USA), but reading reviews I realised I better order an 8, since most buyers said they run small. THEY DO. The size 8 clogs are a bit of a tight fit. One more centimetre and they would not have fit and been too small! BUY ONE SIZE UP AT LEAST. That said, they are very well made and sturdy. I'm pretty sure they are made in Sweden (not China) which makes me happy.

This is not the first time I have bought this brand, and had owned many clogs by this brand. I started buying this brand from a local clog store many years ago, when this brand used to be made in Sweden. Over time, I noticed the quality was not the same, and found out that the brand was now being made/assembled in Minnesota, needless to say, brand still good, not as good as when it was made in the county of origin, but still buyable. Moreover since, the local clog store shuttered down, I started ordering the clogs, from the Troentorp website, and even had ordered one item from Amazon, many years ago.Fast forward to my most recent purchase of this clog, I was expecting it to be the same as what I remember, however from the get go, I did notice the price this time was slightly less from what the item usually used to cost ($100+, versus the $99) So I kind of had premonition that the item may no longer be made in Minnesota, however because I was familiar with the brand, I still went ahead and made the order.The item looked the same, however the fit was awful. Unlike my previous clogs of the same brand, which were gotten rid of after many wears and scuff marks, this one didn't even last few hours, to let me know that the brand has become garbage. After wearing it for few hours, the pressure from the top of the right clog was so painful, I was literally limping in pain.It is unfortunate that companies nowadays are so intent in saving a buck, and giving customers the least amount for their money, this brand has literally become garbage. The problem making items in cheap countries by people who have no idea what they are doing is, that they can imitate the look, but many of the important details which used to make the item what it is, is defiantly missing, meaning copied the look but not the functionality or the comfort of the original.When item used to be made in Sweden by people who knew their stuff, these clogs fit like a dream, when it was later made in Minnesota, it didn't fit like a dream but it was wearable. Now, I have no idea where this garbage is made (probably in some cheap sweatshop by people who know nothing about making of clogs,) but it is horribly uncomfortable and painful to wear. So it was returned.
Very well made. I ordered these as a gift for my wife who wanted red clogs. Run a little narrow which was perfect for my wife's foot. I ordered 1 size up as recommended and that worked. There is no padding in the sole of the shoe however, so she states not quite as comfortable as similar clogs she owns ( Dansko). Good value for the money. True red color which is beautiful and the only one in this price range I could find.
These clog are wonderful. I do have some that are directly from Holland and I just love all of them. The sole is wooden as they were way back when but they are unbelievably comfortable. The color are gorgeous and they do have an arch. I don't believe they will ever wear out very pleased.
Although I have 2 other pairs of Troentrop clogs (in 2 other styles) that fit perfectly at size 37, the Da Vinci model was not nearly as comfortable, so I returned them. The length was accurate, but it was tight across the instep where the decorative belt runs. In addition, and unlike my other two pairs, the material on the bottom of the clog is now of a thinner and harder plastic-like material rather than the thicker, more rubber-like material of my other pairs. These are are a very attractive clog, but just didn't work for me. The seller is to be commended for the swift and responsive service.
These clogs are beautiful. Really simple and classic. They were a little tight in the toe box otherwise I would have kept them. Got the 37 and it fits more like a 7 than 7:5. Very bummed I had to return them.
