Great Clog
I love Troentorp clogs. I have been wearing them for years- since they were Bastaad Originals. Clogs are easy to wear and when you tire of them you can just kick them off. I wear mine almost everyday and appreciate the arch support when I stand for long periods of time. If you have never run in them- don't. It takes some getting used to to cup your foot as you run.The shoes are expensive but high quality. Wearing mine as i do they last about 3 years. The bottom rubber sole dries out and begins cracking or the leather around the ankle which is thin tends to crack and tear. The wood will last forever although it does take a beating. The leather is held by nails but I have never ween one tear out or rust.I wear a men's 44 but that size for some reason is hard to find. This is the first time I have tried the women's and there is really only one difference that I have found. The width is slightly narrower and fits a little tighter. I don't mind this since my feet are narrow. I thought I might be imagining it but when I hold it up against my old shoe it is not as wide. Otherwise it is identical to its male counterpart.The sizes are a true match to our american sizes so use the chart carefully. This is a quality shoe which can be worn for years to come but remember it is a clog and people may look at you strangely. I am a physician and wear it with my nicer clothes even in the office and it goes well with them. I wear them in the operating room and it gives me all the support I want. Very comfortable.

I wish there had been a Euro sizing chart on the description. I would have ordered a larger size. The box says 9 and 39. 9 was the recommended size (per Amazon.) I wear a 9 but this shoe runs very small.I like the look. The quality seemed fine but I had to return.I will try an American 10/Euro 40.

Comfortable clogs, unique sole but runs short
I wear a US 9 and often buy 9.5 for extra room so I ordered the 39 as directed for my "US size". Should have gotten a 40 instead. They were roomy enough in the toe and didn't rub on my high instep but they were just too short, my heel was hanging off the back. too bad, cute clogs, nice rubber on the sole and excellent value.

These are very comfortable and (natural wood) attractive, received the pair this afternoon and just ordered another pair (blue) right now - looking for a red pair next. Dansko OUT - Troentorp soooo IN. True to size and looks more durable than the rubber soles on all my Dansko (deteriorating soles and leaving black scuff marks on linoleum and wooden floor and cracking on the ball part of the shoe). These are going to be my go-to shoes and purchasing more. Recommended! Get them!) The wood part of the heels has a slight bit of blemish and scratches, but considering they are HANDMADE it gives it a bit of rustic look- not noticeable when you have it on and that far down on your feet - i am okay with it.

Super comfy and beautiful
The first pair of shoes I bought with my own money were clogs so there was a little nostalgia at play when got these. To me they are gorgeous and go with everything. On top of that they are super comfy which doesn’t make sense with wooden soles but they are. They are so convenient to slip on as I head out the door. You can see the handmade craftsmanship in these shoes. If I ever need another pair I will absolutely buy this brand again.
