This boot is good looking, comfortable and nice quality. They are my go-to street shoe for New England winters. I wear them every day. I have bought several pairs over the last few years in different colors or to replace the ones I have worn out. I have a medium to narrow foot, and the medium width is perfect for me.
They are well-fitting, very comfortable shoes. Since they come in several widths, you have to buy those that would fit your feet best. I find that these shoes are very good quality, sturdy, comfortable and can be used to dress up or down. They also have arch support. I have several pairs and love them.
This was my 3rd purchase of these Trotters booties and my second return. They were beautiful and comfy, however though both were marked as a size 9.5, the right boot was significantly smaller and very tight. On my last purchase and return, I was sent a size 12 instead of a 9.5. I gave it two tries. Now I’m returning and moving on.
I have problems finding comfortable shoes. I'm not on my feet all day but I do a far amount of walking. I routinely pay $100-$150 on shoes every year with mixed results. I've had my feet and my gait mapped, but my feet and knees often still hurt after a few hours of walking. And, the shoes I'm generally sold look as orthotic as they are, in other words, not cute. I love these shoes! I ordered on a chance and am so happy with them after only one day. They are cute, comfortable, flexible and I've had zero foot or knee pain. I got the reddish wine color and I thought it would be brighter red based on the photo but they are more of a brick red, not too bright, and seem to go with everything. I feel and look great in these shoes. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and I ordered a 7. They fit with thin socks, a little loose in the heel and snug across the ball of my foot. My only complaint is the loose heel. If these stretch out much, and I think they will, this may be more of a problem that I'm hoping thicker socks will fix.
A $150 pair of shoes (with tax) is not cheap but I am willing to pay that to get shoes that fit my narrow feet. Well…I had high hopes but there was NO QUALITY CONTROL on this order! First I knew they were a return due to packaging but I can accept that. In the right shoe I removed the toe stuffing but whoever had before smashed it in and damaged the insole. Can’t easily wear with comfort using it. Got ready to put on left shoe and could see the insole did not look damaged. Yay... But after trying it on, it was way too short. I checked and the left is 7WW and the right is 10N (which is what I ordered). What a miss by this shipper!!!! Not what customers should get for this price! Pics provided. Of course returning this miss.
Super comfortable and very stylish. Fit and sizing as expected.Update!. March 2024.... Just bought my second pair! I love the style n fit so much. I will be alittle more careful with the new ones... yes they did scratch easily....I will keep the old ones to wear when if it's raining or when I want to look alittle cute on weekend grocery runs.
This is my second pair. When I tried to reorder, could not find it. Everyone was sold out but rec'd an e-mail days later from a company who had a pair and I IMMEDIATELY ordered. I love this boot. Comfortable, nice looking. I need to start looking for it again but with my luck, the style will probably no longer be available. Hopefully I can find a close match. I have worn boots similar to this one for 20+ years but this is my favorite. I still have a couple others still in boxes I have never worn because I like this one!
