I wear a size 7W and this shoe is a perfect fit. I was hesitant to order it because the woven leather on the web site did not look sturdy and, at the same time, classy. My mistake. It is perfect for day time or evening wear.
Beware of this shoe, it runs extremely small. I bought my normal size 11M and I couldn't get my foot in it. The width is narrow and the shoe runs short.I immediately returned the shoe.
I enjoyed these shoes from the first day I had them on. These ones are beautifully designed in leather and get better with every day I wear them. I walk up to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and shoe comfort is very important to me, now my feet feel great at the end of the day. I got several colors, and got compliments every time!
Shoes arrived with scuff marks .. construction is not the best
Amazon suggested i order double wide. I probably would have been fine with wide but these feel like heaven. I did move the buckle over 1 hole and they are perfect. Just ordered another pair in black. They are so comfortable and can be casual or dressy. Love them.
I have several pairs of Trotters in this style, and they were made in China and the toe bos is really squared off, making it have more room for your tootsies, This style, which I got because it is plain (compared to the other black pair I have which is patent with a woven design and is much dressier). However, the toe box is cut differently -- almost as if it was intended to be an 'almond' toe box (not rounded, but slightly pointed), yet with straighter lines. Don't know if that makes sense to you, but it ends up being a tad smaller than I like. It's not too bad, considering I will not wear these that often. But it's something to consider -- the toe box feels like a medium, yet it is a wide shoe. Not the same as the other ones I have, and it may be because it was made in India and not China. Guess shoe patterns vary by country?
My toenails are going to fall off. I ordered a regular 8 and they were extremely narrow, especially in the toe box. I’ve never worn wide width, but I liked the style and color so I figured I’d try a wide. It fit better. About an hour into my day I realized my great toenails were hurting. It progressed all day. The pressure on the toenails was horrible. Never experienced this in a shoe before. I’m a runner, so I’ve lost my great toe nails before and I know I will again.
