I normally buy more expensive shoes just because of quality, fit and durability; however, I decided to give these a try because I really needed some new closed toe shoes. I thought they were so cute in the pictures, and there were lots of rave reviews. Soooo, I ordered them, received them, took them out of the box, felt of the nice smooth, soft leather and liked what I saw. I tried them on, walked around on the carpet and decided to keep them. Well, here is what I discovered after wearing them a few times.PROS:The leather is and stays nice looking…...especially for an inexpensive shoe.I ordered grey and it is a nice soft shade.CONS:They run a bit short. My feet would have been happier in a ½ to one size larger. They are also a bit narrow in width.They do not have a lot of cushioning in the footbed.They look like an old ladies shoe.As my feet swell, the shoe remains the same; therefore there is more foot than the shoe can handle, so some hangs out around the ankle. U-G-L-Y.The arch support is okay for a low foot arch, but a high arched foot might not be very happy in this shoe. They are cut so that the shoe fits a bit high under the ankle, and gets uncomfortable after a few hours of wear.Were they a good buy? I would say they are a mediocre shoe, and I should have kept looking for a better fit….and perhaps more stylish.

Fabulous Choice (for me)

I am so happy I bought these shoes - I got the olive color in size 9, which is what I always seem to wear, nearly across all of the many retailers. And I surely have no real need (nor any need) for these but I really liked the color, style (it’s not always a sandal day), and the comfort & price.The color is really nice - bright, not a drab olive green. Would go wonderfully with nearly any medium- or semi-casual attire - skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts. I actually wore them this last weekend with a nice slightly upper casual T-shirt (olive with a ruffle finish along the diagonal front. And nice jeans.Bottom line, I felt so perfectly dressed and, “oh- so comfortable” in these most amazing pair of shoes. I was actually happily surprised with the degree of comfort from late afternoon into the later evening.Just a great pair of shoes at a very good price point. Definitely worth a try if you are considering them at all. And as I recall there were many colors.Quick reminder: I found them to be absolutely true to size. Width is average, jot tight in the least for my typically “regular” width.
