Excellent for Adaptives
My 4 year old wears orthotics and I’ve struggled for a while to find quality sneakers that accommodate them. I’ve tried major brands like See Kai, New Balance, and Billy. While they were all good, I found myself having to purchase new pairs every couple months. With Taukihoshi, I found what I was looking for. When you remove the insole is fits his orthotics perfectly. Where I once struggled to get his foot into a sneaker I now effortlessly slide his foot right in. The large opening and wider shoe is a huge help. The quality of the sneaker is also a huge plus. They definitely stand up to the wear and tear of playing outdoors daily. You also get a stylish shoe. I know the price point is a little high, but I’m not having to replace them as frequently as other brands. Would recommend to other parents.

Perfect first shoes.
I love these shoes for my son. The size, fit, and quality are great for the price. My son walks..well runs everywhere in them. I do not find that he trips on them. They are not big and bulky. They are not rigid. They have great flexibility. They clean up very easy by wiping them down or throwing them in the washer. They are made by a pediatric podiatrist and this ensures they are perfect for little feet!

You Get What You Pay For
These shoes were a little more expensive than other options but boy are they worth it! Higher quality than some of the big name- brands with strong Velcro and ergonomic foot shape. Our kiddo has put some miles on these and they still look brand new after a few months. The shoe tongue is attached on one side of the shoe which helps hold it right where it should be as your toddler is running everywhere! Will definitely be ordering again after they grow out of this pair.
