Taking ballroom dancing with hubby. These are great, they are easy to fit to the correct ankle size to prevent wobbling. Great quality, they have lasted me several months dancing 1-2 times/week. Definitely worth the cost. Lovely style, feel very "fancy" but comfortable.
Love these shoes. I wore them for the first time last night to a party and danced all night. My feet were very comfortable and didn't get sore at all. I definitely will purchase them again in other colors if they last. I have to wear them a few times more before I make that decision.
These are very attractive shoes that are comfortable underfoot - however if they hit any spot on your foot, there isn't any give. Negatives are that they shed glitter a bit and the strap fastening is a little strange
These are dancing shoes and my instructor told me they are to be very tight in toe and heel. I'm not involved in competitive dancing and don't ever intend to be. The shoes fit very well - not tight but comfortable in heel and toe - they don't feel like they will move while I dance (haven't tried dancing in them, yet). The shoes come in a Narrow size (as well as Medium but unsure of Wide) which has been my primary problem in getting some dance shoes to fit and this is one of the few dancing shoes I've seen and tried that advertised the Narrow width. I think part of the reason for so little movement in the shoe despite the lack of "dancer tight" is the lower heel. I love the look of the 3-inch heels but I'd break an ankle in a minute. I may still have to find a way to make the toe box a snit smaller but I'm happy with them and happy they fit comfortably. My husband and I are taking dance lessons for his son's wedding so we're not going to be flying that fast over a dance floor. Those days of flipping and splits are long gone.
I will start by saying that I own an entire back of the door shoe rack of dance shoes. Most of them are now TT Dancewear shoes. I love them! I am slowly weeding out the other brands.I have these practice shoes in nude and now the black. I needed shoes to practice in that did not have rhinestones All over them. I can get on the floor without discomfort or scratching the floor. I typically dance in 2.5 inch heels, so I wanted a practice shoe in the same height (Most practice shoes are a Cuban heel), so these shoes are perfect!I love the fit. The size chart is great! Because I fall in between sizes I have contacted customer support for help with sizing. They are very prompt in replying and extremely helpful. They guided me to a size 5.5 and they fit wonderfully. The cross over ankle straps keep my feet secure so there is no wobble. The front foot straps hug my feet just enough. There is plenty of padding and support for me to dance all night in (2-5 hours).In the 3.5 years I have been Latin dancing I have purchased (and returned or given away) many many pairs of shoes. Once I started with my first pair of TT dancewear shoes, there has been no turning back!They are the only line of shoes that do not cause blisters or skin abrasions. All others I need to prepare my feet by wrapping them in bandaids or moleskin to protect my feet.I get so many compliments on all my TT Dancewear shoes. I send fellow dancers their way too. The social dance I attend regularly is now full of dancers wearing TT Dancewear shoes. I cannot say enough about this dance shoe company!Oh! How could I forget one of the best parts? They won’t break the bank. I have bought many shoes that cost well over $100 . I can’t wear them for one major reason or another, and of course once you dance in them you cannot return them. Thousands of dollars down the drain in other well known brands of dance shoes. TT Dancewear shoes are so economical. They are well under $100 and worth every penny.
*Updated to 3 Stars after having worn them for several months of dance. These required quite a bit of break in for me, as they left blisters on the top of my big toe, and after a thorough break in, I thought they stopped leaving irritation….. but I was wrong. I still come out with horrendous blisters right below my big toe nail. I do still find the suede to be stickier than I prefer also. I just think in comparison to other more comfortable pairs you can buy on amazon, I’ll skip these next time.I want to love these. They are genuinely gorgeous and so sparkly, but the first strap on top of the toes is AWFUL! I have since worn them with wool socks twice, and I hoped they would be fine with just bandaids following a break in, but I came home with a blister on each big toe near the nail, after only a few hours of dancing.I paid enough for them that I’ll keep trying to “break them in,” but these just do not suit my long toes. I also find the suede to be a bit more compact than I’d like, even after an brush, and they don’t turn quite as easily as I’d like.But boy are they gorgeous!For reference I range between an 8.5-9, and I purchased the 8.5. My toes do not meet the edge of the front, as most dance shoes, but my toes still felt cramped.
I received these shoes today and I love, love, love them! I followed the suggestion to order up 1/2 size and am glad I did. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and they could not fit better! The buckles make the straps adjustable. My left foot and ankle swell so I adjusted the left one looser than the right one. I like that not a lot of my toes show. They come with extra rhinestones in case some should come off! I bought them to wear in two weddings as "mother of" in each one. After the weddings they will be a new pair of shoes for shag dancing! I will be ordering these in other colors. Since finding these, I will not be paying over $100 for dance shoes again! I couldn't be happier with them! Please disregard my fading fake tan 😉.
