Do not hesitate to buy these!

I decided to purchase these for my husband cause they were only $19.99 and the reviews were good. He’s gotten insoles and shoes from The Good Feet Store and everywhere else to treat his plantar fasciitis. I was skeptical. My husband swears by these shoes! These actually make his feet feel good and for hours!

Very good walking shoes

Update - 10/25As I noted in my original review, I suspected a slightly smaller size of these shoes might fit me better. They were on sale in Amazon's October Prime Days sale, so I bought a Black pair 1/2 size smaller than the White pair I got in June. There's not as much space in the toe box, but the overall fit is better, and the toe box isn't so small as to be an issue. From that experience, I'd recommend going down 1/2 size. For what it's worth, the original pair of these I got are still the most comfortable walking shoes I have. My name brand shoes with orthopedic inserts still cause some foot pain on long walks, but I'm pain free with these, right out of the box. I'm kind of worried about what will happen if I need to replace these insoles.Original Review - 6/25A wide toe box has become a must-have for me when shopping for shoes, so I decided to give these a shot. The toe box is certainly wide, possibly too wide. That's the advantage to buying shoes in a store - you can try on a couple of different sizes, see how they feel. With these I ordered my 'normal' size and they're OK. Maybe a half size down would have been better.Right now, they're the most comfortable 'walking' shoes I have (and I have 4 pairs I rotate through, 3 name brand). Usually, I have some pain in my feet when walking, but not with these. I was a bit surprised to see the extra arch support was a stick on pad, but I went ahead and stuck them on, and they see to work. I have special insoles in all my other shoes, but I haven't felt a need to add anything to these.Where these fall a bit short is in lateral foot support. I tried doing some yard work in them after a walk, and they really failed when I tried to walk across a hill (maybe a 17 degree grade). My feel slipped around in the shoes and caused me all sorts of issues. My other wide toe box shoes manage to still be able to secure my feet in similar situations. Maybe if they laced up tighter, but I haven't managed to get them to do that. The other thing I'm not a fan of is the 'tongueless' design. I get the concept, and generally like it, but the tongue on both of mine tends to collapse down into the shoe, so I still have to lift it up and hope it stays up until I can get my foot in. It's actually much worse than my other shoes with a tongue. They all stay up, and I can just slip my feet into them. That's not a huge issue, but an annoyance, every time I put them on.The styling is OK. They don't look like orthopedic shoes ;-) My wife did comment they looked huge when I took them out of the box, but I don't think they look all that bad on my feet.I would certainly consider buying another pair of these when next I need walking shoes, but only as walking shoes, not as 'every day' shoes.
