Well made and comfortable
This is my second pair after 6 years. The leather is high quality and durable. I use them for both work and going out - after learning them. The soles wear fine but I am in dirt not hard surfaces mostly. The traction is good but not a hiking boot. The heel is low enough to provide a mostly normal gate but it is still a cowboy work boot. They do take time to break-in. I use a second insole to prevent heel slip but that is specific to each person's foot dimensions.

Tough boots that hold up
Bought these boots for my nephew. He had his last pair 2 yrs ago, and even worn and near death, he could still use these darn boots! I knew he'd like a other pair, so I surprised him 2 wks ago. He was so happy; he said they were the best work boots he'd had that worked as hard as he did! He is a sand welder/blaster, and the sparks fly and hit these boots. Leaves a blk smoot mark but no holes! Worth every penny I spent

This is the second pair of Twisted X boots I’ve owned. They make a great product for a good price. Long lasting and quality made boot that will last.My only negative about this pair of boots is that they were just a bit loose. BUT.... they are pull ons and the last pair I had were lace ups. But I can say after wearing them for a week now, they are starting to form to my foot better. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Best Work Boots EVER!!!
The are the very best work boots!! My husband is a plumber and he has tried EVERY, and I do mean every, work boot on the market but these are the most durable and comfortable boots we’ve found. The soles don’t dry rot from getting wet, the upper is great quality stitched leather and still comfortable to walk around a giant commercial build. Order at least a half size smaller like most sites recommend.
Would have been nice if Amazon noted that these run large like every other website has noted (now that I've looked after getting boots that are way too large twice). Most sites say a half size. I'd say a full size. Nowhere near correctly sized compared to the 11.5 work boots I usually wear.
