New Favorite Boots — Comfortable, Protective, and Perfectly Designed
New Favorite Boots — Comfortable, Protective, and Perfectly DesignedI absolutely love these boots! I’ve tried so many different styles, but the Twisted X Women’s 9” All Around boots are hands-down the best I’ve found. The height is just right — not too tall like most others, which makes them super easy to wear for long days. The heel is as close to flat as you can get in a boot, which is a huge win for me since I have a knee injury and can’t wear anything with a high heel. They’re also incredibly comfortable right out of the box — no break-in needed. The tread on the bottom is amazing — I never feel like I’m going to slip, even on uneven or slick terrain. And the thick sole is a lifesaver on my property, which is covered in cactus and sharp brush. These boots handle it all without letting anything poke through. If you’re looking for a boot that’s tough, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, this is it. Highly recommend!

Best boots I've ever owned!
I've had these boots for 4 1/2 years. They're extremely comfortable and ridiculously durable. I have one pair for outdoor work of all-sorts and one pair for casual wear. The ones for for casual wear are nice enough that I wear them to my office job, church, out with friends etc.The other pair, I wear cutting and splitting wood, crawling around on asphalt roofs, horseback riding and horse care in general, and basically anything I do working outdoors. I've even walked through a creek in knee-deep water in them. They definitely look worked-in but are just a sound as ever.I'm attaching pictures so you can see what both pairs look like after 4 1/2 half years.I only complaint is that they don't come in black. I would love a black pair also for casual wear. One last thing may help you decide if they're right for you is that my instep is narrow in the ball of my foot is wide. My foot slides forward in most shoes or boots that don't lace up. It doesn't do this in these because the instep is snug enough to keep my foot in place, but not uncomfortably so.

Comfort and Cute.
I love this boot. And I do not have a barn.It looks great with jeans or dresses. I did go up half a size in order to wear thicker socks in cold weather. They are well made and I love the rounded toe as I have wide feet. Very comfortable from day one.

nice looking, comfortable, watch for defects in manufacture.
I wear women's size 8.5 to 9. I tried both 9 and 8.5 - and later the 8. The size 9 was just too big.The size 8.5, while there was room for toe length, was a little too roomy in the ball of the foot region.I did like that there is actually toe room in these boots. These are comfortable. But the leather which is advertised as "full grain oiled leather" is rather thin. If you get a piece of real full grain oiled cowhide leather and hold it next to the boots you can tell the difference. See article: "How thin can full grain leather be?" In order to advertise as "full grain leather," It states: "Additionally, full-grain leather can be split down to less than a millimeter and yet still retain amazing tear strength whilst becoming as soft and pliable as a fine fabric."So that explains it. The leather looks good, but is thin. It is supported by the mesh lining, however, but not a very thick leather on these, although they look attractive and I really like the color.I still like the boots, especially the extra toe - room, and they are comfortable like a tennis shoe. Update: I did try the size 8 and only one boot fit - the other boot my toes ran into the end. Some of the boots are not cut the same on both boots in the toes: the right boot was more squared off on an angle, which offered more toe room. But the left boot was more ovaled off at the angle, and that reduced the toe room on the left boot. If I want to wear these I would have to go with the size 8.5, which has enough toe room in the length, but is wider in the arch of the foot area, which makes it a bit looser.... perhaps a shoe insert can help.I am afraid If I order another size 8, I might have to buy and return until I find a pair without the defect. Watch for the defects in the toe region the way both boots are cut in the toes. Otherwise these can be very comfortable, like a tennis shoe, and offer some warmth for outdoor activities duing spring and fall, and would be a nice walking or chore boot as the name states.

I’m on my third pair
I’m on my third pair now. This is the most comfortable walking boot I’ve found. I switched from more traditional western Ariat boots after a knee injury that made it hard to walk with any heel. I love that my foot sits flat inside, but there’s still a slight heel if I do need to throw a leg over a horse. I manage a lesson program so I do a lot more walking around the ranch than I do riding.Wearing these 5-7 days a week, 5-12 hours a day, they last me around 15-18 months.

I love these.
The other person was right: if you have bunions or wide feet, BUY THESE BOOTS. I searched for weeks for some good, waterproof farm boots that I could actually wear. I took a chance on these based on another review, and I am so glad I did. They are true to size, as I wear a 7.5 and they fit perfectly, even with Carhartt winter boot socks. There was no break-in period, I wore them comfortably from the time I opened the box. They are waterproof, because I've been stomping through mud and snow and haven't had any issues. And I mean 10-12" of snow. I care for pigs, goats, and horses and these boots are awesome. I can ride in them as well, and they look good with jeans if I am leaving the house. Most importantly...MY FEET DON'T HURT FROM WEAR. I plan on ordering a second pair as soon as I can.

Runs quite large
Love these boots! Two things though; they run large! Big toe box. Second, left boot looks slightly wider than right one…wondering if these boots were a second? Anyway, I am keeping them. Comfy:)
