a bit extra in the toe area
I have a couple other pairs of oxfords, I really like wearing them with jeans even though they're a bit formal. So I'm always happy to add another pair to my shoe rack. These Tyndall shoes are an interesting find. First, they look narrow without restricting and hurting my feet like a real narrow pair of shoes would. I think they accomplish this by being just ever so slightly extra long in the toe. And it's interesting because I think they have a slight slimming effect just by making my feet look like they belong to a slimmer person. I have pretty normal feet, neither wide nor narrow, and an athletic build, if that helps to know. But they are noticeably longer than my regular pair, such that I found myself scuffing them on stairs. It wasn't a clown shoe effect by any means, it just took some getting used to. But it's something I got used to when I started wearing oxfords on a daily basis some years ago anyway, because these shoes are generally a bit longer than athletic shoes. It's just that these Tyndall ones are even just a little extra longer than the ones I'm used to.And it's not a reason to take away a star from what would otherwise be a five-star review, but the way they bit into my ankles is. They seem to cup the ankle a bit too much, in a way that won't really break in quickly, and which would give me blisters if I were to wear these all day and walk a lot. That aside, they're nice looking. Not really a backup pair for me, nor an everyday pair, but I could wear these to formal events, and they would bring a sort of understated elegance to my attire without looking too cheap.

comfortable office shoes
These shoes are surprisingly comfortable! They aren’t broken-in comfortable but I was surprised that they fit well and have cushioning for the soles of your feet. One of the things that bothered me about my other pair of dress shoes was the hard shoe sole that would go clop clop clop as I walked around the office. This pair of Tyndall shoes are quiet! It’s such a welcome change. They are not leather, and I’m okay with that. You honestly will not be able to tell the difference. I’m planning on using my shoe trees to help break them in and get some of the stiffness out. Also, like any other dress shoes, they will develop a crease. The shoe trees should help with reducing that crease as well by the way.I wore them to the office taking into account my 1 hr commute, and then some walking to get to my office building in NYC. I walked around the office, stood for an hour using my standing desk, and then did the commute home at the end of the day. These shoes did not feel like they were pinching me, nor did they feel like they were rigid.Use some shoe trees and these shoes should last. I’m quite happy with my purchase.

Looks good from a far
They run a bit longer then the size would have you believe yet they are skinnier then typical. My feet are right between wide and regular, I typically wear standard width in both formal and sneakers. For me, its not too uncomfortable but it does squeeze a bit. Not enough to damage my feet. The overall look is great but because they are not real leather, at close range, they look a bit cheap . But at normal range like passing by or at an event where no one is staring at your shoes, they are fine. They are already creasing heavily for me so I doubt they will last more then a few dozen wears.

A comfortable formal for long wear.
Fits true to the size, the value seems well worth it with a formal but comfortable leather quality, the style is ideal for any formal gathering and I have worn this all day during a work shift with no unsettling comfort spots, especially around the ankle.

Solid choice for the price
These shoes are of very good quality. They fit very well and did not hurt my feet when I wore them for the first time. They have a very classic style to them and go well with most men's slacks. They are a bit slippery on slick surfaces, but on most other surfaces they are ok. They are a good value for the money

Tight Squeeze
These TYNDALL Men's Classic Modern Oxford Dress Shoes are an excellent choice for formal wear and offer a truly sharp, elegant look that is perfect for business meetings, weddings, or theatre performances. The shoes boast a nice quality construction, and the Black finish is deep and polished, giving them a rich, classic appearance. The materials feel durable, and the classic lace-up design is exactly what you expect in a timeless formal shoe. However, based on my experience, the fit seems a little off. I ordered size 9.5, and while the length was correct, the width was surprisingly narrow. I am not someone who wears WIDE shoes, but it certainly seems like these regular width shoes are too narrow. This resulted in a fit that was slightly snug across the ball of the foot, which affects long-term comfort.Despite the narrow fit, the overall look and material quality are quite impressive, offering good value for money, especially considering the formal style. They perfectly match the visual description in the listing. If you have a naturally narrower foot, these would be a perfect five-star pick. For everyone else, you might consider sizing up or preparing to break them in thoroughly. They look great and are sturdy; they just run narrow.

Quality, comfortable pair of Oxfords at a good price.
Beautiful pair of Oxford PU dress shoes. These Oxfords are the perfect stylish and professional business shoe. They fit me perfectly based on the size recommendation. These shoes are a little stiff new out of the box, but break in quickly. Overall I am very happy with these Oxfords and would be happy to recommend them!
