GOOD LOOKING SHOES
This is a very nice looking shoe. Fits really good. Pretty well constructed. Not for people who kick their feet together while walking.

This is a very nice looking shoe. Fits really good. Pretty well constructed. Not for people who kick their feet together while walking.
When I saw these shoes, I thought they had a really nice and different design then what I was used to and since I was in the market for a new pair to wear with my suit on occasion, I thought I would give them a try.First off, the fit was exact and since I am a 10.5 US size they fit really well and were not as stiff as some others I've had when they were new and wearing them for the first time, I did not have any discomfort. One thing I didn't care much for were the laces these shoes came with. They, in my opinion, are a bit thin and not very durable and probably will not last very long without getting frayed. However, these are easier enough to change and put in and that is most likely what I will be doing at the first notice of wear. The shoes themselves do seem to have a thin bottom and soul but since I will not be using these for everyday wear I think they should still last quite a while.Best feature of these shoes is the design and top fabric and shiny finish on 1/2 the shoe which is what caught my eye and made me want them.Really intricate soft fabric for the one side that has all the detail. The other side is more traditional and modern with a beautiful shine.I have yet to experience them when they have been worn to the point of contact with outside influences like a dance floor and the like to see how they will hold up under some of those things but can update the review as necessary. As of now, I have an overall good feeling about ordering them and would sincerely recommend them to others.
I am the guy who shows up at the gala wearing the blue tux jacket, with the fun paisley pattern and other colors that border between "stylish" and "fashion problem." I always get a lot of compliments, praise, and yes - funny looks. These shoes are PERFECT for my next gala. They have the intense shine like a high-quality shoe used for formal wear has, but with the velvety paisley pattern on the side. A little matte, a little gloss, and a whole lot of flash. They're comfortable too. I'm actually wearing them now and forgot. Normally, this style of dress shoe is constantly reminding me by making my feet uncomfortable. In terms of fit, I'm an 11.5 and I had to order 12s as they were all that were available. They fit wonderfully and the size is nice and big (sticking out the front). You will be noticed wearing these for sure.
This is a nice dressy pair of shoes with a fanciful flair. It’s not a lifetime piece or anything, but wears well and should last if taken care of. Fits as expected. It’s as comfortable as most other dress shoes, expensive or otherwise. At $43, there’s not much to complain about! Overall, very happy. 5 stars
I got this for my husband to wear at formal events like at a wedding or on a business trip.Pros:- True to size, looks exactly like the picture- Unique and stylish design with the nice details on the suede- Comfortable to wear with some padding in the sole and some arch support- Great traction and not slippery even on very smooth surfaces, great rubber soles on the bottom- Sufficient treads- Lightweight- Made of quality materials and looks very expensive- Laces are long enough to tie up but not too long where you would trip easily if they came undoneCons:- Laces are thin and may not last in the long run, and also had to be redoneOverall, these are fantastic, high quality, and stylish dress shoes. I would highly recommend them.
These shoes have a pretty cool design and would work well in a select variety of formal settings - white tie events, dances etc.The build quality is pretty good, no blemishes or deficiencies that I can tell. They do run very small, probably 1 or 1.5 sizes under. I ordered 10.5 US, but based on how narrow and tight they'd be at the toes, I'd need at least an 11.5. I couldn't even fit my foot into the mouth of these, they seem like an 8.5 or 9.
These look great, I’ll leave details about looks to other reviewers who already did so and with better cameras.I’ve been getting different kinds of foootwear off Amazon the last few months and almost all were sized up, so I’ve been sizing down (some to 8.5). Normally I wear 9-10, with 9.5 being safe. Because of previous experience I aimed down and went for 9s, and they are so tight I have to pull the the crossed laces up before I can put my foot in, yet once I do there’s still some space between the toes and tip. It doesn’t matter because these are so narrow there’s no risk of being slippery or loose. I added a picture without socks to show the ball-y sides of my ankle sticking out with these on, they even curve under those spots because they know the design exposes them. 9.5 probably would’ve been a little more comfortable but I think the design is so narrow that the width will always feel. If you have fat or naturally wide feet I don’t know if sizing up will help, these may just not be for you.As far as walking and comfort they’re ok. My right ankle had a harder time with the tightness and it never really went away during a long walk in them. Obviously these are more for situations where you won’t do much walking, but if you had to they’re at least not painful in the sole.TL;DR these are on the better side of Amazon shoes I’ve tried, just be aware they’re incredibly narrow and don’t come up very high.
