I ordered the black (non patent), size 8.5. This is my typical shoe size. With my high arches, I typically wear insoles for extra support. These fit perfectly with insoles and socks. Day one I wore them to work, no blisters! Received many compliments on them. Great find for my business casual work setting. Look great with jeans, dress pants and skirts.
Love them, I will wear them to work all the time. Legal profession. Looks nice with and without black socks. Comfortable for a high arch, fits well with thick socks as wellNote that it has been around a year and they are starting to hurt my feet.

I didnt consider a lug sole would be literally heavy - noticed that first, the box was heavy. They look nice out of the box, the tongue has a very pliable vinyl feel, makes me question future durability. The sole bends enough - walks like you'd expect a workboot sole would... but,While the length and width are right, my heal slips out of the shoe on every step, both shoes. This is not an issue I normally have. If you really drag your heals when you walk, you might not have the issue, I guess, maybe.If there were such a thing, I'd say Im womens US 9.75M. I bought 10M. Plenty of length in the shoe. Toe box space was unremarkable - I have an arthritic toe, just nothing noteworthy. I bet 9.5 would be just a tiny bit short for me. M width was plenty wide.
These shoes fit true to size and look really nice. I bought these because I wanted genuine leather penny loafers that were within my budget. I wear a size 5 in most loafers and these fit perfectly. I do however wish the toe area was more round since I have wider feet and just personally love round toe shoes. Don't be alarmed if these feel snug when you first try them on; they will loosen up as you wear them. Mine loosened up after several hours of wear at my desk job. They're heavier than my other loafers due to the bulky heel but I don't mind it and I walk to work almost everyday. Overall, I'm very happy with these and will update my review after several months of wear.Many month later: These shoes have held up phenomenally! The insoles are falling part though so I’m going to have to replace them so I can continue wearing these. The insoles tend to get humid easily though so I sprinkle baking soda or corn starch inside - but new insoles should help. I wear these literally everywhere since these have quickly become my everyday shoes. I can also wear standard dress socks with these too now that the leather has stretched. Can’t wait to get another pair!
I've been on the hunt for comfortable and simple loafers that could be worn casually and in a professional setting and something affordable so I could wear it daily. I got my usual 5.5 but it was quite tight and wearing it with socks made it even tighter so I decided to return them for a size 6 and although it has a bit of space lengthwise it fits more comfortably with socks. I think I would get the normal size if you have really narrow feet but maybe half a size up if you don't. I got plenty of compliments on my first wear.
They run 1/2 size bigger bought size 5,slips off back heel. Not to narrow especially if you have bunions, no problems! I dont think people know real leather! Very soft, gonna get a heal insert & make them work! Dont like to wear w/ socks but that would make a difference. Great quality!
