These are so cute! I like that they are lined with leather. They do tend to run large. I usually wear a size 9, in this shoe I wear a size 8 1/12. They are very comfortable and very nice quality. My grandkids remarked that they reminded them of “gangster “ shoes. I think they remind me of “Spectator “ shoes that were popular during the “20’s and 30’s . I think they are charming. They have quiet soles on them which I also like. I don’t like clomping around in a building. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I love that they have a Mary Jane look, but just the slightest bit of different styling with the ties instead of the buckles, making them different from what other people might be wearing. I’ve worn them often in the last weeks, and they have lots of “give” as you move (unlike other patent leather shoes I have had in the past). So they’re comfy and seem to be very well-made. I'm usually between an 8.5 and a 9 but I ordered the 8.5 and they fit great. They were super comfortable the entire day and looked really cute, but WHOA. . .the SMELL. Like gasoline or burned rubber. I had the box under my bed a week before my event and every day my boyfriend and I would walk in the room and go WHAT IS THAT TERRIBLE SMELL? When I went to put them on, I was like, Ohhhhhhh it's the NEW SHOES! I tried to clean them, and even sprayed with essential oil and perfume, but the smell stayed. Thank goodness you couldn't smell it when I wore them, but if I sat down and crossed my legs, you could totally smell the shoe. Even the BOX smelled without the shoes! If there had been no odor, I'd give them 5 stars.

Perfect, comfortable, and adorable

These are very comfortable walking shoes. I am so glad I took the chance and purchased them. I am a true American 8.5 with narrowish feet. My main challenges with fit are: I have extremely high instep (arches), my second toe is longer than my big toe which can cause nerve pain (Morton’s neuroma), and years of dancing in pointe shoes left me with lumpy toes that can sometimes rub in shoes with a low profile. NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS ARE EXACERBATED BY THIS SHOE which means they will get a lot or wear. Also, and of equal importance, they are adorable.
