These are the choicest and most comfortable Chelsea boot I found and I tried a few on Amazon and returned. I did size up a half size to 8 to accommodate a light wool sock. The brown is so handsome a color.
These ran a tad large for me. I’m between a 6 1/2 and 7 and returned the 6 1/2. Have to use an insole and a heavier sock with the 7. Just my feet. The shoes are really, really nice. Look almost identical to a pair of designer Chelsea boots I have wore for over 20 years at a third the price. The leather is smooth and the rubber sole provides stability as well as comfort. If you like a more upscale casual look, you will love these with jeans and slacks. The brogue style adds some interest. Love
NOT AS PICTURED: If you’re looking for chocolate brown ankle boots, then these are a good choice. I ordered size 9.5. I usually wear 9.5 or 10. The boots fit well. The color, on the other hand is NOT as pictured for the brown. There is no color gradient as shown- the boots are a solid dark brown. The material is a lower quality leather, but doesn’t look totally plastic. I like the wing tip and they look nice with trousers if you don’t want to wear heels. I will not return them, but I still need a lighter brown colored shoe. So I guess I will have to keep shopping (LOL).
These were actually very nice boots. But, too large for my size 7 foot. My heal slipped around in them and the toe area was a bit long.
Perfect and better than Frye Brand . I paid twice the price for! These boots fit great. No gap around the ankle that makes many booties look strange. I ordered Frye boot just like these and they had huge gap around the ankles. These fit like a glove day one. Look expensive and made very well. Great for leggins, shorts or dresses. Very impressed with these boots quality comparable to name brands at double the price ! If you want an everyday bootie this is it. Super comfy from day one and ordered my normal size.
I have been looking long for a nice Chelsea Oxford type boot that did not zip. These are wonderful! Nice material and comfortable. I have tried several pairs and these are by far my favorite!
I was so excited to get these boots - only to be disappointed. Although I love the look, they are stiff and very uncomfortable. Certainly NOT worth $100. Also no support at all. My advice- keep looking!
