These shoes are straight up hero level dad sneakers.I’ve worn them through long work shifts and somehow they still give zero blisters — like they personally signed a peace treaty with my feet.These things could relieve pressure off the biggest, most dramatic bunions in the tri-state area. These are actually one of the most comfortable pairs of sneakers I’ve ever owned. They are extremely lightweight so it’s like nothing wearing them. Made the mistake of wearing them doing yardwork and I actually threw them in the washing machine, Let them air dry for two days and they came out brand new. These are going to be a repeat by for me.
So I think these are great! Mine were super soft and the soles, although people say are a bit stiff, are very comfy and walkable in my opinion. In regards to sizing, I ordered an 8, which is my regular size, and at first I wasn't sure if they were a bit small, so I ordered a size 9 but they were a bit too big then, and looked way too oompa-loompa like on my small frame. I ended up keeping the 8's, since they're only a tiny bit tight if I'm wearing socks with them, but I also have pretty narrow feet so that's something to take into consideration too.
With bad knees I require shoes that fit well without slipping on the heals and good lateral support. UGG products fit me the best and are a bargain at their price point. Also, these clean up easily with a cloth and sneaker cleaner or mild dishsoap
When I think of the brand UGG. I think of well made and soft. Just because these are men's slippers does not mean they should not also be comfortable. My boyfriend's exact words were "Eck try these on. They feel really hard, like a combo between plastic and cardboard." They were returned. I was really hoping for a nice new pair of house slippers for my boyfriend this winter, comfortable, soft and supportive. These were NOT them.
These were a gift for my son. He has parkinsons and these have support and comfort while looking good enough that he can wear them with dress slacks for work. He has them in 3 colors now.
They are nice, but not comfortable. It’s kinda like you are walking on card board.
