These fit well and were comfortable. I used them to shingle the roof of a large garden shed. They had really good traction as long as they were clean on The soles, and I'm going to save them for garage work and getting up on roofs where you need good traction. They were very lightweight and nice to wear. A very good buy.
This is a pair of shoes that you pay for quality, not a name brand. It seems like every penny went into the construction of the shoe. I am a roofer, and so far they check out. I stick to the roof pretty well (so far), no nails have gone through my foot (thanks to Kevlar insole!), they're water resistant, steel toed, don't waste any more of your time looking for an affordable, quality pair of shoes. Because this is it. Once you break them in, they are pretty comfortable.
These shoes are everything they claim in the product description. The only thing they don't tell you is the tongue is just a piece of semi-rigid cloth covered plastic. The problem is if you try to wear them right out of the bag the tongue will rub and poke at the front (soft) part of your ankle. Here is what I suggest. When you receive the shoes try them on for size. If they fit take them off and turn both tongues up (they are plastic so they should stay up), then put them back on and use them around the house for a day or two. After they feel broke in turn the tongues back down, put them back on and if you notice little to no rubbing then just tighten the laces and your done. Enjoy your new shoes. In my opinion well worth the 40 bucks. FYI: to the maker of these if the tongue were padded they would easily be five star shoes.
It hard to find all black, no other colors anywhere on the shoe, waterproof, safety toe, non slip shoes. This one will do the job. However, I will often be using them for work, and on my first day, I did not spare the cleaning. I took the hose and put it to high pressure with my thumb, and for the most part, it was ok, but the water did get though the side eventually, so when I went home, I set those shoes on the shoe dryer, and hopefully I don't have to clean it everyday. The point is, it's not a rain boot, it's a work shoe. The spraying can only be resisted for so long before the shoe is proven to be only water resistant. Also, the non slip seemed to be less than my other non-slip shoes. My work is a slippery place, so all my nonslip shoes can slide a little, but it was just more slippery than I expected in this shoe. I was on oily surfaces. The fact that it is rated for waterproof, non-slip, safety toe, and all black, that made it worth enough that both I and my job with like the shoe anyway...update on the shoe: it lasted about 11or 12 weeks before the bottoms started falling off from the front, like what they call talking shoes because the bottom and top are separating. I used super glue to put it back together, but the point is, it doesn't last long if you're working in water much.
The Good: These are spider man shoes and are great for roofing. I hate heights and I hate roofs. I especially hate steep roofs. Still, for some reason, I decided to construct a storage building with a steep roof by myself and found myself going all-out on safety equipment, including these shoes. When I got on the roof, I was pleased with how well they gripped the OSB, and then the synthetic membrane, and finally the shingles. They didn't cure my fear of heights, but they did ease some of the fear because they stuck with no slip at all.Now for the bad. Do NOT buy these shoes thinking they are going to last. I am just a few weeks into this project and the fabric on the toes is worn like they were two years old. Still, I didn't buy them as a fashion statement so the wear doesn't concern me too much.

Finally got around to using these and they are not waterproof and uncomfortable due to the fact water fills up - my husband pressure washes roofs and these are a total fail - I don’t recommend and now I’m past the return point :(
