Very comfortable and look nice. I wish the string to pull for tightness was a bit bigger because it doesn't seem to keep them tight long. They are great for working in the restaurant industry where slip resistant shoes are needed.
It works alright. I got it for cold, wet weather, and it works pretty well for that. Obviously they're not boots, but my feet stay dry through the rain. I generally wear shoes without socks, and these are impermeable enough that I don't feel the cold air blowing straight through like with most sneakers. I like that they slip on. They do seem to be non-slip as described. Being all black makes them good for events or formal occasions where logos and patterns on your shoes make you look sloppy and unprofessional. They are matte black, though, so they don't replace dress shoes. The first day I wore them, I walked almost a mile without socks and found the tongue rubbed against the top of my foot and left it sore, but now that they've been broken in a little, that hasn't continued to be a problem. The fit is true to size, I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and the 8 is a good fit.
These shoes are comfortable, lightweight, and waterproof as described, however, as far as slip resistant I don't think so. Are they slip resistant on SOME surfaces? They are definitely not the shoes to walk in while walking outside on icy pavement. I almost slipped on ice at work last night, luckily I caught myself. I'm not saying don't buy them but don't expect an easy walk on ice.
Love the style and thickness of the sole. They fit really good and are comfortable. Very nice quality.
I'm 50 years old and spend long hours between work and housework, so I needed shoes that I could wear all day without my feet hurting. I chose this model because of the laceless design, which makes it easy to put them on quickly, and because of the sole that promised good grip.After several days of use, I can tell that they are comfortable to walk or stand on for quite some time. The sole doesn't really slip, even when there's some water on the ground. I also like that they clean easily and that the material doesn't absorb liquids easily.Of course, if you use them for many hours in a row, you may need an insole with more support, especially if you have flat feet or need more cushioning. Even so, they have been useful for me both for work and for running daily errands.
