Comfy, stylish and affordable

Arrived in just a plastic bag.. No box. As a result, they arrived with minor cosmetic damage to the front on one of the shoes.Shoes are lightweight but feel well-made.Material if the upper and sides is quite thick and firm, so you might want to wear them with socks until they break in, could be rough on your ankles at first.Insole is squishy and comfy.My feet are slightly wider but not enough to justify wide-fit shoes. These are comfy across the width of my feet. Size 9 fits as expected.Overall, they seem great value.I’m not sure about the packaging.. it’s certainly cheaper to ship in bags instead of boxes but.. there’s no protection! This isn’t a seller issue or an Amazon goof; the manufacturer should provide these in a box.4 stars. If they’d arrived in perfect condition, it would have been 5.

Way too narrow

My husband had never ordered shoes by mail, so this was a learning experience. He ditched shoes with laces years ago and usually wears slip-ons. He found these online and thought a shoe with a 'flexible outsole' would surely fit. But, no. He couldn't even get his foot halfway into the first shoe. He said the length is probably okay, but they are much too narrow for his 8.5 (wider) foot size. The sizing chart said they tend to run true, so order your regular size, but that didn't work for him. He usually wears 8.5. It's a shame he can't wear them, because they look comfy.

Nice and comfortable, good price, well made/sewn

Aloha everyone 🌺 this is Charlie and I'm reviewing these Van Heusen flex shoes. I was surprised how comfortable these turned out to be. They have a memory foam insole that gives my feet good cushioning, I usually have to use a sole insert, but not with these. This is the Hammond model and it only comes in a black color, it's well made and stitched. These are a medium weight shoe, so they're not heavy, I'm glad they don't make my feet tired, hot, or sweaty. These only come in D sizes, I wear a10 1/2 E, but they've stretched out a bit. If you wear a EE size, you might have to get a half size larger. I got caught in the rain and no rainwater got into my shoes, I'm guessing because of the manmade materials. I think it's at a good price point of $39 for a pair of these Hammond model shoes. I've wear them a lot, mostly because they're slip ons, and I don't have to lace them up. I can dress them up with a pair of nice slacks and shirt, or just wear them running around in shorts. For shoes being All made made materials they're pretty soft, flexible, and not stiff, like I thought they would be. Ok, I hope this helps. Thank you. Sincerely, Charlie.
