Vaneli usually makes a good shoe that fits me well. I take a narrow width and found that 8 Medium in this show runs true to length but narrow in width.The style is minimalist. Footbed is cushioned and arch support is also minimal. I'm not sure if the soles are thick enough to cushion pavement walking. These are a bit like black cloth slippers or dance shoes. Could be ideal depending on your activities.
