Exactly what I needed!

These are extremely comfortable and perfect for wearing for yard work. We have several acres and a big dog that needs exercise so I am outside daily. I’ve had these for several months and they are very comfortable and my feet stay dry even when I am out in the grass in the early morning dew. They fit perfectly with plenty of room so I can even wear thick socks when it is cold out. When they got too dusty I rinsed them with the hose and they looked great again so I wore them to run errands in and my feet were still dry. Will definitely buy again!

Sturdy, great arch support, waterproof

This is my third pair of these shoes. They look a bit ugly as if they are 'old shoes' and stained because of the different colors of the brown leather. However, they are very function and sturdy with a nice wide toe box and comfortable on my feet. They are waterproof. The shoes are definitely on the heavy side rather than lightweight with the Vibrum sole, but they work well in the mud and forests of the Pacific NW.One area that wears out for me in these shoes is the inside of the shoe in the heel area. Other than this, the shoes last a long time and are a quality shoe for day hikes around forest trails and around town.

Great Hiking Shoe!

I purchased the Vasque Talus AT Low UltraDry hiking shoe 4 months ago hoping these would fit my requirements. I have been unable to find a substitute for the Breeze 2.0 low hiking shoe, and I thought I would give these a try, even though there were negative reviews on the Vasque website.I found them to be the best fit, performance, traction, and comfort for long hikes/walks, and all-around support when on my feet for several hours. They appear to run small. I normally take a size 7 to 7.5, and the size 7 proved to be too small, especially in the toe box area. The size 7.5 has more room in the toe area, but they could use a little more space for swelling feet after a long walk. The heel area is a little loose, but I am able to tie them to minimize movement.Warning: They are a heavy shoe built for dryness and support. They are designed similar to a hiking boot without the ankle support. I wear them in the wet weather and my feet stay dry! There are no mesh vents since they are ultra-dry, and have a tendency to be very warm in the summer months. They are stiff when first purchased and need to be broken-in. I also replaced the Vasque insole with a Superfeet Trailblazer insole for greater comfort.Traction is impressive and the thick, flat laces are perfect! They never loosen or untie. If you enjoy hiking and prefer a shoe instead of a boot, I would not hesitate to recommend this style. I purchased a second pair in the Dark Slate/Baltic recently.

Too Small!

Too small! I love Vasque footwear. Hiking boots, shoes…These were just too small overall. They seemed well made.

Great quality

The sizes are true to size and I had no problems hiking in sand dunes with these. They grip the terrain very well and are comfortable to wear. I did not have any blisters, either.

I need a lighter shoe!

These shoes were very cute, but they were heavy and a little bit stiff. They did feel like good quality and I think they would probably have good durability. I just didn’t like how heavy they were.
