European walking shoes

I bought these while reading up on European fashion before my trip. They popped up over and over as a comfortable option. The company and materials were recommended as well. However I chose to order them through Amazon because of the easy returns in case they didn't fit.I live in Florida and am not used to wearing closed toe shoes very often so when I first tried them on I didn't think they were comfortable at all. Lol. They also squeak a little when walking sometimes. I was on the fence but I decided to take the chance and break them in. i got compliments on them and I was able to coordinate them with pants, skirts, and casual dresses for the trip. After walking an average of 10 miles a day in these on cobblestone, cathedral stairs, etc. I can attest that they are comfortable and blended with local sneaker trends in Switzerland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. If I lived in a cooler climate regularly I would have chosen the leather over canvas option, but I wanted something I would continue to wear at home. These seem like they are going to last a long time.I usually wear 8, 8.5, or 9 depending on brand/style. These fit me in a size 8.
