Give this product serious consideration
I have 4 pairs of these comfortable Okabashi “slides” and only wear this brand. The arch support is great when walking on concrete floors while shopping and the heels do not wear down as with other brands. The first pair was purchased almost 10 years ago at the Aina Haina Longs store. While I’m not “hard” on my footwear, the sandals look almost brand new. I’ll be looking to see if they come up with some new colors, but for the most part the neutrals are “ichiban”!! Great product!

Good all round outdoor slippers!
These are great multipurpose slippers! They are supportive and ergonomic, so they are comfortable. These are also slip resistant - unlike my Crocs. They are a lightweight material that is well constructed and very durable. In fact, I’ve been buying Okabashi shoes for 30 years and have only needed 3 pairs because they last so long (approximately 15 years each). This is my 3rd pair and I use them as my outdoor gardening/beach/pool shoes. They are some kind of plastic that becomes more flexible and wears well over time. They are great to throw in a suitcase and can be easily hosed off or scrubbed with a brush. I hope they never go out of business!

more narrow and short than other styles but still cute and comfortable
A different style of Okabashi sandals fit my size 10.5 foot perfectly so I was excited to order this cute style but this one seems to run a little narrower and shorter. I can still wear it and it's an attractive, comfortable shoe but it just isn't the same amazing experience as my other pair (the Lakeside Thong style). I don't have particularly wide feet but still have a hard time slipping my foot in as far as it needs to go because of the bands across the middle. Someone who is a 9.5 or a 10 might have better luck so it's something to keep in mind. I'm not going through the hassle of sending it back but I probably wouldn't have purchased this pair if I'd tried it on in a store. The style is very cute though so if you have a narrow foot that isn't on the upper end of the size range, I'd say go for it.Edited to add: So, I wore them out to run errands and they ended up being more comfortable and less narrow feeling than I'd originally thought so I bumped it up to four stars. The other style is still my favorite so far and fits my foot best but I don't regret this purchase.
